Haven’t playe this game since the show 12 and some of these tips help , every thing you said about the vison reminds me of actually being on the plate playing real baseball, does your stance help your timing ive yet to make my own custom stance
I think this is one of the main reasons why I stopped playing MLB games. One of the coolest features I always enjoyed were the different batting stances. Now days it doesn't even matter because you need to use these types of views when batting and it becomes too much of an arcade experience. I mean look at that camera view, you can't even see your player at bat smh...
I get it. Like Eric Davis's batting stance. You do realize you can change your camera views right ? I'm sure there's a setting that allows you to actually see the batter.
@@johnnywarner4468 I understand you can change the views but my problem is if you don't change it into that ridiculous mobile game view everyone has you're left at a disadvantage. Maybe it's just me but I think having individual batting stances not mean a thing anymore just sucks.
@@JP-xf3xvI’d actually agree and it’s why mainly play offline these days; I like the wider views so I can see the hitter/stadium and I switch to directional hitting mode to make stance and attributes matter a bit more as well
Ive learned that when playing offline. the more out of zone pitches that you take the more strikes youll get. the more you swing at pitches outside of the zone the less strikes you'll get. so at the end of the day take pitches the game will reward you. its a sports video game its made for you to win.
@ocalien I think I'm going to start playing more casual instead of ranked cause these sweaty cheesy nerds just be doing the same thing over and over using paul Skenes or Nolan Ryan and dotting the corners
Hmmm. The One Cardinal Way Apartment building is STILL NOT IN THE GAME. It’s one of the biggest buildings you can see from the home plate of Busch Stadium. Was hoping to finally see it this year. Maybe in MLB The Show 26 it will be there….
I like these tips thank you I’m a FPS semi pro and I literally get beat on rookie by the cpu. Just finished mini seasons and went like 11-17 or something. I semi blame the cards I have going against some of the best there is in the game but overall it’s just me swinging at shit in the dirt like I’m prime Vlad
Man, they should have custom practice presets. It sucks to have to waste tume setting it up each time. Great video. Always good content, and never a show off.
I always use the PCI, (zone hitting) but I turn that shit off. Having that big ass thing on the screen interferes with my ability to see the strike zone.
My problem is I was 40 games above 500 last year now I’m like 20-22. Idk if I’m just bad now or they changed something this year. Feels like a good PCI isn’t as rewarding anymore. It’s more bloop hits.
So I’ve been struggling with the new settings. I have guess pitch set to classic. But when I guess the pitch it shows exactly where the pitch will hit but my pci gets locked in place, so I can’t move it to get under or above the pitch. I have tried all the setting like classic, no response, etc. this is driving me crazy. Any idea how to put it to where I can move my pci after guessing pitch?
Idk why but when my zone is right on point and timing is good and the stupid idiot keeps checking the swing and it’s getting me mad to where the game kinda isn’t enjoyable
Hey man, thanks for the vid. Played last night for the first time ever. Hated it. Couldn't hit. Pitched okay-ish. The strike zone view and pci indicator was incredible. Massive difference. Worth a sub. Thanks!
To add on, use a grip that isn't so loose, the ball point of the thumb is a great starting point. Find a grip with less range of motion in order to stop slamming the pci
Same bro I bought ever sports game this year cause I felt every game just about stepped it up from previous years. And I am absolute butt cheeks at MLB
Good video for someone like me just playing mlb for first time this year. Thanks

I needed those last 2 tips...Thanks broo 😊🤙🏽
100% agree. Sad that I need to be reminded that video games are supposed to be fun, but apparently I do
@ocalien I think I'm going to start playing more casual instead of ranked cause these sweaty cheesy nerds just be doing the same thing over and over using paul Skenes or Nolan Ryan and dotting the corners
@@ocalien This game has been terrible since 21, way too hard for any new players to adjust
Dude for I have to stop caring about my record too I will never play BR tho
As soon as you said I use normal, I tried it and hit two home runs after a major drought. Thanks
Good intro well spoken subscribed good shit
Great video. What controller do you use/recommend?
I reccomend a controller from the original sega.
It helped me a lot
Coming from 2k it’s a relief that mlb rewards you for playing the game and not money gouging its audience
Coming Frm 2k this game seem impossible to play

No hope for mlb 25 lol

I'm so bad at this game. Trying to play moments. Get 2 hits. I can't. Haha. I can get 1 per game. But 2?! Not me. Or multiple extra base hits? Never.
Took me 3 days to figure out hitting, I'm still dog water and swing at outside pitches 80% of the time but atleast I'm hitting the ball lol

how can i stop slamming pci?? i already use precision rings
what kind of controller do you use? is it better to use a wired controller or a wireless controller on xbox?
wired will reduce input lag

My problem is I keep hitting pop ups and the field just catches it 😭

Don’t use guess pitch it’s shit

Try holding down the button when you swing instead of tapping it. Just hold it down for a second instead!
that’s why i’m here .. i damn near broke the controller!
This is good but man the pci part gave me so much anxiety 😩😩😬😬
They still haven’t added that new building at Busch shows how lazy sds is

Thank you baseball James Charles 🙏
My timing is on point it's just sometimes my pci is down and the ball is up how can I improve that?
Track the ball out of the hand and anchor you pci up in the zone
@@Gregheffley1287 good tip frfr

Any timing tips?
How can I react to the ball faster
this is great, thanks. this is the first MLB im gonna proper commit too and I suck so bad haha.
Same bro I bought ever sports game this year cause I felt every game just about stepped it up from previous years. And I am absolute butt cheeks at MLB
Im with you guys. I absolutely suck at the game can’t get hits for the life of me I get trashed almost every game in online😂
All these hitting tips videos are always in practice mode never showing them play online.
How do I turn off the having to aim to throw to bases on Road to the show mode? It's very annoying.
This is way too hard I keep missing with the PSI the ball is going way to fast, Imao this is why I stick to shooting games
Can anyone else use daily rosters trying to play exhibition, but can’t use them?
Thanks!
They won't be available until the season actually starts. Though they may be available after SD vs LA play in Korea. At least for those 2 teams.
@@Gnar_Dogg thank you
Can anyone explain why i can hit a fast ball in the green and it will be a strike? Or hit a ball in green and it pops up?
The start is yapping about his achievements
Just explaining his credentials and why he is placed to pass on advice.
🎉🎉🎉
Should I swing with x or square?
X
👏
They took off the guess pitch for online modes? Wack.
I’m dogshit at this game 🤣
This tip only applies to playing the cpu...no matter the difficulty...dont swing and they will walk you 50% of the time.
Already making suggestions for the new game and it hasn't been out yet. I've already seen the ones for 23. I love it.
What u mean it is out
He’s literally on the new game?
Why zone hitting? Is Directional hitting that bad? It truly made me* way better.
It’s better bc when you get the ball on the zone plus a perfect timing swing you really crush it
Ouner? You mean outer?
Only tip u need is get John Donaldson
Strike zone 2 zoomed out
Why not hit on camera view catcher?
Pure analog hitting sucks not being in MLB The Show 24
I gave up on MLB…I can’t hit
Anyone else take off the pci entirely? Lmao i do. Its too distracting
Bro you said straight nonsense in your video what does any of that psi shit mean
Day 274 of commenting on twins vids
All this extra stuff just to hit a baseball smh
