Attach small wood paddles under each strap to the side of rear wheels.. Even a section of pvc pipe on each strap would give better propulsion in the water.

7:58 Does this have a backwards-drive? If yes, you should drive backwards out of the water, so you can take on steeper coasts...
Also a way to lock the steering -wheel in its middle-position, to pull it easier up on pick-up-cars or cliffs...

What about flexible rubber fins that bend on land but act as a propeller in water. Not straight out but at a angle almost parallel with the tube itself. When it hits the water it flexes open when forced against water. Then you can get some real speed and that thing is a winner.

Well done but I see one problem the drive tube a little bit slow means rear tube must be fitted with deflectors🎡 to be faster so that the driver can use little power to the feet .

But is it PRACTICAL over overkill of just creating? Looks more funny than cool but it seems to have its usage on dirt.? Put an engine on it for pedaling is a bit overkill of effort. Motor is useful to be practical of not getting tired at 100 feet..
