You're right, it’s a very simple song, but because Juan Gabriel took just a segment of an original, longer, song of his, from the 90s, and turned it into this beautiful thing. The original one is called "Lentamente" (Slowly) and it's a long precious story about falling in love with one's true love. It lasted like 7 minutes!

Wow. As you said, so simple, but so beautiful. I really enjoyed this one, especially on this rainy, gloomy day.
Btw, it's never too late to start learning a language. I just started my own slow process of learning German last year and it feels really nice knowing that it's only for my own pleasure even though I am really slow. I also used to speak a bit of Spanish but I notice that I forgot a lot, so we could learn it together. 😉😊🖤 It is so beautiful language that you will feel true happiness even if you learn just the basics.
