I think my favorite thing about this song is Chae doing tik Tok challenge, people complaining the choreo was too hard so she did another with a simplified one, people still didn't do it so she made an extremely simple version and gave us the disappointed mom look

She's too good to be left behind in the sea of idols - I hope this comeback helps solidify a fulfilling solo career. I absolutely loved Knock, and Chaeyeon shone so bright in this MV. Her stages are also amazing, I just hope her company keeps up the momentum.

I wasn't much of a fan of Hush Rush. But THIS? OH YES! It's exactly what I was hoping for / expecting from a Lee Chaeyeon solo.

interesting, it was the other way around for me. Hush Rush was probably my favorite Kpop song of last year. I found Knock to be very generic.

Chae Yeon is a phenomenal artist and performer who knows exactly how to make a point in the choreography stand out
When you watch the behind-the-scenes video of filming this MV, there's actually a lot more CGI than you might think. The mirrors are CGI, the entire background of the outdoor scene is CGI, the chalkboard in the classroom. It makes me appreciate how they used these smaller, less ornate sets a lot more.
And she is a vampire, though I'm not sure if she's the same vampire she was in Hush Rush music video. Though some of the paper-cutout transitions and writing effects are shared across both videos, so maybe! Perhaps this is the Hush Rush vampire who has come out of her castle and is living a normal human high-school life?
Chaeyeon was my one-pick in Produce48 and one of my ultimate biases once she debuted with IZ*ONE. I love her SO much, she has such a sweet and quirky personality. Funnily, she made a normal version of her Tiktok dance challenge and an 'easy' one, but fans weren't doing it because they said it was too hard, so she made an even easier one, and then they still said it was too hard. So she made one that only uses the hands. Seeing her get playfully frustrated with fans has been so funny. And the song is going up in the charts a bit currently, I hope it goes even higher
I think chaeyeon finally found her music color, her dancing skill really highlighted this era, her stage presence, her outfit, her vocal range (catchy chorus and rap plus high note), everything is on point
Of all the groups and soloists who came out of IZ*ONE, for me NO ONE tops Lee Chaeyeon. Both of her releases so far have been perfect, and I LOVE her willingness to both play to her strengths in "Knock" and to play against them in "Hush Rush". I am eagerly looking forward to her next comeback!
I’m like 96% that she’s a vampire. Very intrigued to see why/how they’ll continue the vampire concept throughout her work, since she was also a vampire in Hush Rush.

Her dancing really is extraordinary, especially compared to alot of female soloists. We have great female dancers in kpop but particularly as a soloists it's hard to really shine with dancing. Dancing alone vs in a group is very different but Chaeyeon really pulls it off easily. And personally I love her voice especially when she gets deeper in her register! Thanks for the review PD
Not only is she an all rounded idol, she's an all rounded dancer which is just insane. Chaeyeon is the embodiment of dance in a person.

I couldn’t get into hush rush but everythinggggg about this comeback blew me away!!! Now I went back to hush rush and I really enjoy it haha. Her solo work is my introduction to her and I think she’s incredible! Chaeryeong did the dance in a tik tok with her and wow those two together is too powerful

the art direction of hush rush was impeccable considering the most recent comeback but aside anything but the visual this comeback is crazy good
I've been waiting for this reaction because this MV stood out to me so much when I watched it. They did a great job capturing the choreography as well as relaying the feel of the song itself.

Chaeyeon was amazing on this MV
Knock is an example where the artist, the song, the director, choreographer and even the editor all worked together effectively. This MV is shot in a studio, and may not be the most expensive in terms of budget, but it worked for Chaeyeon!!! The editing and camerawork made the MV exciting (it could end up becoming a performance mv without those creative angles)!!! The song too, its composed by Seo Yongbae...who's a big name in gen 3 to 3.5 kpop listeners. He knows what type of sound will capture the korean general publics ears.

this is the fastest 180 i’ve seen from a company, i’m impressed they actually seemed to take the criticism and gave chaeyeon’s career a fighting chance!!
This is what I was expected her debut was (Hush which was still good, but not exactly my cup of tea) and they delivered so well for her first comeback.
They storyline is well potrayed, with her as a "vampire" drinking the red "drink" represent blood. The narrow set with the red "curtain?" showing off as if she was (or were, with the backup dancers) dancing inside the coffin.
The cuts between shots, choreo, vocals, rap, just the song and music video overall are perfect combination for what I personally wanted from her, minus the song being too short for my liking.
She's really one of the hidden gems in Kpop.

It’s also glad to see how positively the market reacted to this song. The skyrocketing melon rankings and the viral dance covers in China all proved what a good song and good productions can do to an amazing talent like Chaeyeon.
I'm so happy that people outside of WIZ*ONE are finally recognizing Chaeyeon's talents. I know, she's been known of in the K-pop scene, but it GENUINELY feels like no one gave her what she deserved! Not her companies, not some of her fellow idols (not talking about IZ*ONE, of course!), not even some of her own "fans." I always worry about Chaeyeon, because I just love her so much, and she deserves so much love, praise, and recognition! This song was so, so good, and I absolutely adore it. The MV, the fashion, the dance, the music itself. I'm so glad you liked it.
Actually the lyrics do feel like a typical love song but if you follow her vampire lore from her debut it's actually about a vampire unleashing her power, so the knocking on your heart doesn't sound as cute anymore
Edit: also the court scenes are all blue screen, so it's impressive how they made it look so good

the camera work rly blew me away the first timed i watched it. they really did utilise the move to its potential. the cuts, the mirrors, the slight speeding up is also real good. 13:10 and the stained glass is a reference to vampires too i presume. overall, it has a cool balance between complexity and simplicity.

Her dance is so amazing and mesmerizing everytime I see her, then I like her voice too and also have the best personality I ever seen.. she pretty charming, cute and shy offstage but confidence and charismatic onstage When she have no activity, she will do bubble live for 1 or 2 hours for the fans.. that why if your already falling for her, It will be hard to get out.. never regretting subcribe to her bubble's.. I saw her dancing one of shorts challage it was really fantastic i immidiately go and watch the video and im obsessed with both song and dance moves.When i watch the video i think she is a platonic lover she try to confess her feelings but the boy is not interested in her and she still knocking on his heart she will be knocking even if he ignores her feelings. She wont stop i get this feeling. I also adore her energy it gives me a good vibe and when music starts it makes me feel like i m watching an anime an anime song it gives me this vibe too weird. For two days i keep listening i hope she will shine and deserve the best place as soloist.Right now she stole my heart by knocking :)

There is a short where the Lee sisters do a Knock Challenge and it is BEAUTIFUL to see. It's amazing how they can do the exact same moves, in the exact say way, and still be totally different.
