    People in the chat are anti alcaraz but remember one thing carlos is younger than sinner and still he has won 12 atp titles 2 grand slam titles number 1 for 38 weeks and look at sinner stats 6 atp titles 1 grand slam not acheived number 1 ranking yet people think alcaraz is overhyped wow just wow alcaraz has a bright future mark my words he will have more successful career than sinner

      The age difference is not significant. If you look at how sinner played 1 year ago and how he plays now you will understand. He improves, adapts and learns a lot faster than any player on the tour. Sinner is not at all at his zenith while alcaraz hasn't been winning as much over the last 6 months and is stagnating. Mark my words, sinner will be the greatest player of his generation!

    One universal truth of tennis: players ALWAYS play better without their parents around. Well, except maybe for the Williams sisters.
    Honestly though all credit to Zverev, he played an almost flawless match and made Alcaraz’s look pretty ordinary for three sets.

    Alcaraz has found out that it is not easy to maintain the highest level and to win 20+ GS -s.
    He is searching for that top form , I hope he finds it again,

    Congratulations to Sacha, i think he deserved to win today, Carlos played well too but not to his best level today and i think it’s normal, he can’t win all matches, what we all know is that Carlos will analyse this match and correct whatever went wrong. I just hate it when people start comparing him to Sinner for making some grunt when he plays, there’s no relevance to his perseverance today, he is not the only player who makes such noises, if it’s helping him cope, who cares 🤷‍♂️

    Listening to the commentary you would think Alcaraz is wining the match. They spend more time oohing and aahing over his shots (even when he is losing).

      Alcaraz is overrated, the crowd and the commentators where cheering for alcaraz for the most average returns while zverev got little attention for some really good rallys he won against alcaraz.

    • @choide19
      @choide19 Před měsícem +1

      that’s precisely what makes alcaraz such a hyped prospect compared to say sinner. even when he’s playing poorly, his tennis is centered around his incredible talent and ability to produce highlight worthy shots. The problem is that between those highlight points, he’s not playing anywhere near consistently enough. Sinner on the other hand is less flashy, he settles for the solid rather than the spectacular and he’s winning a lot more for it. the reason the commentators are still ogling over his shotmaking is because it’s extraordinary, just not winning tennis
