    Keep up the good content. Maybe I'll catch you on the river. I see you were on the CT river. I launch where that bridge is in wethersfield. I ended up buying my skis at Newengland cycle based on your feedback you provided.

      Thanks for comments! Glad to hear it was useful. Speaking of, time for me to dewinterize any day now. Also trying to put hitches on both the new cars so this year has some bonuses to get through before mine touch water, but shouldn't be much longer. I had the same battery for at least 1 half year with out disconnecting the poles or recharging it. No matter if it’s winter or summer. The reason for that is to get a battery tender and always after riding plug it 24/7. And you will forget to replace or recharge a battery again. It makes the battery as new every time you use it. But never ever start or put the key on with the tender running you may damage the computer or the battery as well. Later on I will give you some tips on Riva Racing products. You will be amazed on how you can turn your PWC not only faster but more reliable with out opening the engine for mods!!!

    • @SKLIFEstyle
      @SKLIFEstyle  Před 5 lety

      Interesting. Yea i dnt think I would hook up the tender while its plugged in but good to know if I ever did. Yea looking forward to it, Idk about this season, but i will certainly be looking for upgrades soon for sure. **SK**

      SK LIFEstyle the question is what you want first more power or reliability? If I had to choose I will go for reability! First and then power when you have certain amount of money to spend

    Hello. Quick question. I filled up my tank completely to the top last winter before I put my sea doo away. It’s now been 9 months without running the engine. I did use a small fuel stabilizer I bought at Home Depot. My question is. Would I need to drain the fuel ? Or would I be ok to run with it ? Thanks.

    • @SKLIFEstyle
      @SKLIFEstyle  Před 4 lety +1

      Hey thanks for watching and the question. You should be Ok, I wouldn't drain her.. Next time you do run her, just try and burn up a good amount so you can get some fresh stuff through her soon. But I would expect a well running ski to fire right up and go. Be sure to Subscribe if you haven't already! **SK**

    So, I live in south Louisiana and temps dont get much below 30 degrees. I did not winterize my 12" Seadoo GTI 130'S. I do have a battery tender on both them. Any tips? I plan on changing my oil, plugs, filter very soon. Also, I start & run it with water hose every month.

    • @SKLIFEstyle
      @SKLIFEstyle  Před 4 lety

      I think you should start and run her each month if she isn't winterized...I would still put some stabilizer in there and to help with moisture. Idk if I would run the water hose though...I would be nervous about hitting a cold stretch and temps dip enough to freeze and water left in there...although its closed loop and no intercooler so I guess its only going to get possible ice build up in the exhaust. Though I do believe some exhaust components are rubberized not metal, which could wear on them. I would run her for 30 sec., like every 2 weeks, no hose, and that should be good...Not like u need the battery to stay charged, so she doesn't have to run long...and 30 sec will be ok with no hose. That's just my thoughts. If it didnt get below 45/50 then I'd say ur good but I would be nervous when it's down near 30 sometimes. But if you done it for years perhaps the temp isn't that bad when you run it. Thanks for watching, please SUBSCRIBE! **SK**

      @@SKLIFEstyle Thank you so much! Great info, I'm a try doing that. Also, I did already add fuel stabilizer and I plan on doing the oil changes and plugs next month, (dont want bad oil sitting)...

    We cleaned the jet ski just like you showed. But for some reason every day we turn it on there’s still water coming out of the engine.
    How can we get all the water out?

    • @SKLIFEstyle
      @SKLIFEstyle  Před 4 lety

      If its really a pet peve then u can start and stop her a couple of times before even blipping the throttle to throw the rest out. When you pull out of the water kick it on to dump water out. And then when you come home you can do it again. Pretty much my method. But I'm not sure you can get rid of every drop except for clearing her best you can and let the air evaporate the rest like end of season. But if you are clearing her out and going out weekly I think your fine...even if you see half a cup of water pour out when you start her in the drive way next time. Just don't want half a gallon or more just sitting in there for a long period.**SK**

    Hello, im struggling to start my jet ski after the winter, we have gas from last summer and took most of the old out but kept a bit of it, then added new to it might this be the reason, we charged the battery over night we believe its either one of those options

    • @SKLIFEstyle
      @SKLIFEstyle  Před 17 dny

      @victoria_med_c hey. Sorry to hear that. Even if you change the gas what is in the line may still be not the best. I take it you added stabilizer in there before winter or had it professionally winterized? Also. Sometimes bad batteries will still read almost 12 amps but will not really hold. Not sure what year/ model and maintenance prior but yea running down the line of basics is def the way to go. Maybe even pull some plug and take a look at their quality and any signs of water or excess oil.

    Forgot to ask, when you spray the engine down with the xps lube, do you rinse it down after? Thanks!

    • @SKLIFEstyle
      @SKLIFEstyle  Před 5 lety

      No, I dont rinse her down after I spray the xps. If I ride in salt I will spray down the engine bay after riding, or maybe randomly once or twice during the season, but the XPS I just let it sit and work its way on to every surface.**SK**

    If you just pick up a charger from habor freight they sell them with cable connectors that Connect to your battery and a cable that will hang out with a plug. To help keep your battery charged over the winter.

    • @SKLIFEstyle
      @SKLIFEstyle  Před 4 lety +1

      I hear ya. I do have have a couple chargers. But my preferred method is to take the battery out to keep it inside so it doesn't have to.be in freezing & neg temperatures...and just put on the charger like twice over the winter and then once more before I install it again in the spring.**SK**
