Coriolis is a Sci-Fi RPG from Free League Publishing and Modiphius Entertainment. In this video I run down the system and what I think of it in a concise timeframe.

I knew I'd like this guy when I saw the cat. Bravo!
Thanks! I do like my catz
Traveler which is an awesome d6 system does a good job of breaking up the skills and giving them to different characters. Space combat in that system can be daunting however. I will take a look at Coriolis thanks for posting
I really need to try traveller someday. Probably at a con when those are a thing again
re: spaceship combat - be interesting to compare and contrast with Stars Without Number Revised's rules
scottosau that’s one that’s been on my radar recently has I’ve heard a lot of talk online about it. I’ll have to check it out sometime
I would have loved a longer more thorough video.
Nice intro. Cats are always a plus 👍
Yeah these bits were originally aired on another channels videos and they had hard timeframe requirements. One of the reasons I stopped contributing
Ashen Stars rpg has a similar solution to the 'problem' of starship combat.
Not sure I've heard of that one - who publishes it?
Re: the culture, think Firefly meets Dune. The "middle eastern future" is very Dune. Not just the Fremen either.
Makes sense. I never really got into Dune, so I don't think about it that much lol
Great video man!
Matthew Jude thanks!!

The hardest part is finding time and people to play all these gays.
Yep. You'd think we'd have more time now....but its amazing how its still not the case.
STA has the best combat system, best system altogether actually
Star trek adventures? I did really like that system, I need to get Philip to run more of it lol
Nice shelf content, comrade.
Thanks!
Tx for being objective
You should read FFGs WH40k Rogue Trader
Does the Rogue Trader have different mechanics than their other WH40K games? I have DeathWatch and Dark Heresy.
@@BoardsAndSwords Same System but there are many rules for ships creation profit aquisition. Probably with the largest scope since you can deal with entire crews or fleets.
@@flavorgod Dang sounds like I picked the wrong books in the series to pick up.
@@BoardsAndSwords Not really, they are all good. Each one tackles different themes and game types. I played them all and RT can be daunting due to all the options.
TL;DR - Errmuhgud the space combat
Completely ignoring everything else about the game! A video of "X under 3 mins" gives the expectations of basically a video like "A crap guide to DnD", not this rambling about A SINGLE SUBJECT for most of the video
Sorry you didn't like it :/
