- I took Tarvarious Haywood on his first Sac-a-lait/Crappie trip. We caught a Louisiana Limit in half a day. After our successful day of fishing in the Atchafalaya Basin , I showed several ways I clean and prepare the fish to cook. I made a big batch of homemade French Fries and Fried a nice mess of fish. We laughed and enjoyed each others company while eating some of the best food god provided us.Thank you guys so much for watching and commenting on my videos .

Honestly here's the thing, I think you feel good after a long day out fishing or if you was out hunting and you get to bring something good grub home for your family or friends to share it brings people together,plus you feel like you accomplished something ....I spent my summers at my uncle's farm growing up him and my step dad taught me a lot about life and providing,I think every man should have some basic knowledge on fishing, hunting ,camping , butchering and grown a small garden you never know, knowledge is power and it's better to know and never needed to than to need to and not know .

We set stations up have the youngins scaling,best on the knife filleting ,and the others clean up and get the flour and stuff set up , that's the way we do it still to this day when the family and friends get together many hands makes for light work.

Kendall oh my that was a epic fishing trip that will last in his memory. You remind me of my grandfather the way he cooked his whole fish and sometimes he even kept the whole head on but your sauce with the mayonnaise and ketchup he would add some whole grain mustard as well

Finally found another fellow Louisianan who knows how to eat sacalait. Tails and fins are the bomb with whole fried catfish, bream, and sacalait. That was an epic day for sure.
Mr Kendall, Daniel Owens here, wanting to thank you once again for giving my dad those jigs whenever we crossed paths with you. He was picking up one or two here and there. But as soon as he tied your custom jig on, he was pulling them in left and right. And seeing that smile on his face while doing it, reminded me again why fishing is about more than just bringing some groceries home.
