Medical assistant here auntie, wanted to address the twitching. You may possibly have low iron which can be the cause of the eye twitching. I know a lot of us have changed our diets since covid. Another option could be stress which also causes it as well. Solution one, get some iron in you. Old school solution put a warm compress on the lid and “sit down some where” (in a grandma voice) lol. Hope it helps.
It’s Latasha yes, it will help relax the muscles in the face when stressed. Definitely check on the nutritional deficiencies (don’t go to the doctor if you don’t have to, but if your know your diet changed add some more of what you need. Covid is occupying the office right now)

It can be serious if worse than that twitch, but I'd have someone check your blood pressure at least! I ignored mines and it went away after a week, but doctors have warned me against doing that since turning 60! ;-)

Hey ROX! Fellow follower and eye doc :) Your lid twitching aka myokymia is usually due to 4 things 1) lack of sleep 2) lack of water 3) too much caffeine 4) too much stress . It can also be muscle contraction due to mild eyelid swelling from seasonal allergies. It’s normally self healing but I would recommend a clean cloth soaked in warm water to relax your eyelid muscles. If you have allergies I’d suggest an antihistamine as well! I’d also discourage high use of visuals media (phone, tv . Computer etc) if it still persist you can be treated with a Botox injection although that’s usually the last method used! I hope it clears up and as always love your reviews! :)

Good review. Kenya had three cameraman at her launch party. They showed this on the behind the scenes episode. Hey ROX! Fellow follower and eye doc :) Your lid twitching aka myokymia is usually due to 4 things 1) lack of sleep 2) lack of water 3) too much caffeine 4) too much stress . It can also be muscle contraction due to mild eyelid swelling from seasonal allergies. It’s normally self healing but I would recommend a clean cloth soaked in warm water to relax your eyelid muscles. If you have allergies I’d suggest an antihistamine as well! I’d also discourage high use of visuals media (phone, tv . Computer etc) if it still persist you can be treated with a Botox injection although that’s usually the last method used! I hope it clears up and as always love your reviews! :)
