Haven't seen the movie. Hyping myself up with clips. Seriously loving it. Great actors & actress. Poor Cillian Murphy. Didn't get the girl. Didn't get his Expresso.
It's an interesting revisiting of Yojimbo. Although Yojimbo and For a Few Dollars more were better, this is at least a respectful remake.

This movie is so stupidly obvious. All those paranoid looking men dotted all around the park with walkie talkies, laptops and phones that don't yet exist (it's 1985).....Murphy and Mirren must have needed the paycheck....

Apparently, Luc Besson begged him 4 times, and he turned him down. Eventually, he relented because it was becoming embarrassing. But obviously a year later he really regretted it because of what came out about Luc
