As an occasional United flyer, the United Biz $99 and Gateway cards work well enough. Checked bag, 2 lounge passes, 5K points a year for having both cards. I also seem to be targeted on the Gateway card for their quarterly spend promos that they offer across Chase's cobranded cards. ✈️
Always great content Sebby, one thing I'd point out is this card does get you Avis President's Club, I've found this to be a very helpful perk and I would factor that into the analysis as only one other card that I'm aware of gives that level of status (that being the personal United Club) so there's not a huge rush at the counter of President's Club members and I found it to be massively helpful when I was in Europe, but obviously YMMV
The new United lounges in EWR are great. They just opened the new second lounge in terminal C, so there are 2 new lounges in C and also a new lounge in A.
Love the way you cut through the "what is clearly tax-advantaged" mess. UA clubs are the mist basic of all lounges. If UA offered the same benefit of the Citi Executive card where you could give employees lounge access UA would be a no-brainer. ✈
✈ It's always important to do a reasonable value analysis of all the benefits a card will give you NATURALLY. The value you assign to certain perks will differ from person to person, so it's good that you pointed that out! This seems like a great card for the right consumer, but I don't think it'll be one I add unless I move to a location with a United hub. Great video though Sebby!

Great video! My complaint about AMEX is they have no way to carry over any info over to other airlines when you book. Example: booked alaska on my amex card, the milage number and passports etc need to be manually entered into the Alaska site. Whats worse is if you want to change seats you cant do it online after booking, you have to call Alaska to get them to change them or upgrade them. Its ridiculous. And good luck getting flight change info alerts when they make changes. Now I have enough points to book directly with Alaska. That might be a good topic for a future video .

If I purchase tickets using points through CSR travel/portal, and IF I have the United Club Business, can I get the status still? priority boarding, free checked in bag, etc? I noticed that any United trips I booked, I continue on the United website for seat upgrades etc. TIA!!

Amex Delta Platinum and Delta Reserve cards and hit the status boosts. YMMV depending on type of business you run but pretty easy if you're inventory focused :)

Hey Sebby I have this Capital One Savor card with an annual fee is going to be 3 years on this February. I know this is a business channel sorry about that. My current credit score is 770 if I close this card how bad do you think it will hurt my credit score? I I tried several times to downgraded to no annual fee or another card also with no fee and they won't do it. When the annual fee post I'm going to call them everyday that week try to downgrade again.
There's a lot of content I film that I don't publish because it won't do well. A huge reason for this is the algorithm. Basically, if you underperform, it's less likely to push future videos. This is why you see some large "zombie" channels as well. Good practice is that you want your videos to hit about ~10% of your subscriber count (i.e., if you have 250k subscribers, do you reasonably believe that 25k people will watch this / care / etc.). Business cards, by nature, having a smaller TAM (total addressable market) and lower interest. I've done prior business card reviews on the main channel before but they tank, which screws up the next 2-3 videos: czcams.com/video/8g2x7uR1D1o/video.html& TLDR: I don't want to get punished for reviewing cards :)

On my channel, I'm always trying to double down on what works, and oddly enough, my best-performing video is a business card video, but I think that was probably a one-off. Niching down on what works is always a good strategy though. Rather than just put out content to put it out, it's always good to focus on the analytics and CZcams strategy as well.

5:55 a day pass is $59, buying airport snack/food sets you back more than $20, I usually work while I wait so for me the value is definitely there
