Hey I'm planning on trying to make a Wii Micro for myself. I have all the parts and about to begin trimming the Wii. I wanted some advice because I am a little confused with all the wiring involved. Besides the trimming guide on BitBuilt what else did you use if anything to learn how to rewire everything on the Wii.

I watched this video which really went through all the basics of soldering that you need: czcams.com/video/6rmErwU5E-k/video.html it's a longer one so you can skip around depending on where you need help. I think for me soldering the data wires were the toughest just because they were really thin and had small contacts.

Hi I have a problem, I tried to run the wii without the disc drive or anything and when I turn it on there is no image, I also tried to restore the soft mod by pressing the reset button but nothing happens, what could be the problem?

Look at repair videos for old ibms and stuff like that, channels id recommend are adrian's digital basement and the 8 bit guy off the top of my head.
Understanding how the traces work from the chips to other parts of board and what does what allows us to know where we can cut and remove parts that aren't required and what ones can be isolated out from the rest of board to reduce size. I don't fully understand it myself and it's really impressive how much of the Wii is actually removable.

if you want, you CAN get wifi in it, however stuff like ctgp won't work because they require discs because they are anti piracy or something
