"I’d Love It" is a song by Paul ‘Ballo’ Ballington, featuring Chris Smith & Dean Midas Maynard. It is for the England team and supporters for the Women’s World Cup 2019.
The video is about a young girl footballer who dreams of playing for England.
In the video she dreams of getting her own back on the boys who have given her stick for playing football. She takes them on and scores loads of goals. The telling off they receive in the video from their coach is her ‘dream’ way of getting them back.
The video also features a host of women footballers doing Keepie-Uppies, including Chloe Morgan, the goalkeeper for Women’s Super League Tottenham Hotspur Ladies.

The intro, guitar backing and drums work really well - ideal for dancing to in a stadium, although I hope the connection between Newcastle and “I’d love it” (Kevin Keegan) isn’t a bad omen! It’s great that someone else has finally posted a song for England at the Women’s World Cup.
