This is another video about the tragic love between Uncas and Alice. You'll notice the beginning and ending are in color and the majority in the middle is in gray. The coloring is noticeably bright and vivid than in other videos to emphasize the importance of the present situation. The gray represents the memories between the two as Alice contemplates what has happened and what will happen. She ultimately takes her life to be with her one and only love, Uncas.

I think they were so racist (director,producer etc) .The movie itself is about Native Americans but they cast white actors for the main lead and female lead . Btw Uncas and Alice had more chemistry , the main love interest was so forced.

Storia tragica e meravigliosa allo stesso tempo! Grazie anche alla bravura e alla bellezza dei due protagonisti, che nel film avrebbero dovuto avere più spazio per la loro storia damore!
It was all by design..the Director said that he could not have more than one love story in the movie so he picked the two older actors versus the younger ones.
Uncus Did not have to die and if he did not die then Alice would still be alive as well.
They had all their scenes cut from them and to the director said that he was not comfortable with an underage girl having a love scene with a man that was 25 years old which was Eric.
If anything American history has taught us is that in those days women were 14 and 15 years old and married already. So like I said this was all done by design.
And if they were really going according to the book then Uncus would be with Cora. Not with Alice.

People, nothing racist about it! It follows the book, in that Hawkeye told Cora he was the adopted white son of settlers, killed by the Mohicans when he was just a baby, and raised by his Mohican father with his Mohican brother. This is all he has ever known. This is why his father says that he is the Last of the Mohicans, because his son Uncas whom he was asking the Great Spirit to welcome at the Great Council fire after his murder, would have been the last, but now, he, the father, was the Last. Daniel Day Lewis accurately portrayed the adopted white son raised by the Mohicans, as they were the last surviving Mohican family after the others had previously been wiped out in battles, and wanted nothing to do with that war going on at that time, either.
Remember also when Hawkeye was being held at the fort for treason, his father demanded to know why the general was detaining his white son. It was all acknowledged.
Im talking about this movie. I know the rest of the saga
