- Alan Titchmarsh is looking back through the fruit and vegetables he’s been growing throughout the series. Wanting to make the most of the space in his vegetable beds, he introduces catch crops: a smaller crop that grows between two main crops, usually with smaller roots. Examples of catch crops are :spring onion, lettuce, radish, and herbs. Alan also shows you how you can brighten up your garden with some beautiful flower placements

I love this! Francis should have painted her space a dark grey as that would have made her space look bigger. Dark colours recede and make the space look bigger, whereas lighter colours make the space feel smaller.
