I think you have long discovered how to find gold. For most people,luck plays a role.With you, you have gained knowledge of Tides, Currents etc... Finding the cuts and eventually finding the collection zones. Science is your best partner in finding gold and silver. And of course your hard work and determination also. You are showing people how to do it. They just need to watch some of your videos and do it.😊

What’s up Jim so when I metal detector what setting should I use?
Settings really depend on the beach and the type of minerals showing are the time, if you are using an equinox leave it in standard settings and only adjust the recovery speed and sensitivity as needed. IF there are a lot of targets near each other I speed the recovery up and if there are a lot of black sands I adjust sensitivity to run as high as possible but stable.

Hey Jim what do you use to clean your coins? In Canada a lot of the coins deteriorate with vinegar and the tumbler!
I use a tumbler with stainless steel jewelry cleaning media and toilet bowl cleaner, Thank You 👍

Love your channel, I've learned so much in the year that I've been watching... I was hoping you could help me with the 'Iron Bias' selection on the Equinox 900. I'm not sure if I should be using this while I'm hunting in the ocean or on dry sand? And if so, what number should I use?
Iron Bias should not be to high, if so you may miss deep targets that sound like iron but are actually good targets being masked by the mineralized sand. I hunting in all metal mode, keeping iron bias around 5 is perfect even with heavy iron black sand.

Yes, certain directions from storms create good detecting on beaches depending on how they face. Know what direction of swell or wind swell will help select the beach to hunt. a watch is a great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
