Most points are right but when he says 50 lakh loss becomes 50 lakh profit on put, he is talking about buying ATM put whose premiums are high, which consistently eats away your profit or adds up to a loss. Think the market stays there or is moderately bullish. It is like you are paying rent for your own property. Sure there are better ways to hedge. Overall very well presented.
