I love this, not as a legitimately spooky experience, but as a fun, relaxing, Halloweeny train ride.
I was not expecting the Little Shop shoutout and it made me really happy
A lot of work as gone into this train ride and i myself would have loved going through this as an adult or during my childhood, there’s something to be had for both. I really don’t understand the criticism, have people gone salty to that extent? 20 dollars isn’t much seeing how long it takes to finish the whole ride and, as i said before, all the work it took. Negative people should go out more and enjoy life. 🙋🏻♂️🤟🏻
this is true, much shorter halloween attractions can cost $10-$15. This one was really long & had a lot of themes

$1 per min of a ride is fair honestly, $20 would be absurd for a ride that’s 10 min or less

I love outdoor attractions and some of the models and sets are quite impressive. I think the teddy bear with the voice of a man is actually the creepiest one.

I think that this is actually really cool. It might be a little expensive but honestly with the amount of work that was obviously put into it, I think it's worth it.
The scariest part is being stuck on a ride with children for 20 minutes. I'd jump off the bridge to avoid that fate.
Lol. I think it would probably be fun with the kids. Made me laugh when some little girl did in the bug tunnel, “eeeeeewwww!!!!” Lol.
@@GMoney-B Perhaps. As I'm not a father and have no interest in being one, I would hate this. However, I'm sure families would enjoy this as you said because it's not super scary but definitely festive.
LOL, I think it’s funny. Of course families love theme parks but i’m sure even a fun day can get a little long with small kids😂

I've watched this a bunch of times since it was first posted - The amount of detail into each scene is pretty fantastic. I mean having to wire electric, lights, sound, and video in an outside environment, to code, is pretty monumental.
Now THIS is what Halloween should have been! All the best themes of Halloween in one ride! No need for blood nor gore. SCREW IT! This is a perfect mixture of Family fun and Macabre Spookiness! Why all the Haunted Attractions in the world be like this??? :) Great Video!

I'd definitely enjoy riding this if nothing else because it would let me sit down for a while after walking around all day with my kids.
This is so cool, quite a labor of love, you can tell. Charming and "spooky" in a family friendly but nostalgic and enjoyable way for adults who love Halloween. The website hasn't been updated in two years, it's very sad that they may not have brought it back after the pandemic :(

Expensive to build and maintain. Long ride through cool expensive scenery. I'd do it.
Might seem steep, but just think of the maintenance costs for what looks like 20 trains to be running all night, plus replacement of parts of show Elements, electricity for a million items, staffing of the entire attraction, taxes yadda yadda yadda. Looks like fun every once in awhile! :)

They sure did put a lot of work into that.... One of my favorites was the skeleton of Andy Williams in the privy.

It's quite a ride. 20 min long. That's great. It's not over as soon as you get on! But.. looks like one of the passengers brought along a flashlight. :::major eye roll::::
I think that's an attendant looking out for people. Notice she is sitting backwards. Every so often I think she says "hands in please...thank you!"

Ah, the L.A. Steamers Railroad Museum! I went there when I had a kid, back in Girl Scouts. A friend of mine rode this Halloween Train Ride with her boyfriend, she told me “Pre-order your ticket online, and get there early. Otherwise you won’t get any parking and you’ll still be forced to wait in the same line behind people who are trying to buy their tickets at the gate.”

That tunnel about ten minutes in that’s illuminated on the walls looks like the gateway to an alternative dimension!
Even more unusual to have a ghost train that looks like a train and is out in the open and not like those we have over here in the UK - little carts that look like steam engines that can only accommodate two people at most - they push their way through double doors and there’s all lights and spiders and Frankenstein monsters and skeletons and skulls and vampires and werewolves and bends all over the place - then you eventually crash through more double doors and you’re safely back in reality again!

It's a good ride but it's not really scary, But I'll tell you the customers do get their money's worth. It's a long ride. I think where the cemetery was, Maybe you should stop the cars and have people coming out at them that would have been cool. But that's just me. Good ride,😍😊💕
