How great that you found Peter Jöback. He is a very famous musical artist from Sweden and he has actually played on Broadway as the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera so he is quite well regarded internationally too.
The musical is written by Björn & Benny from ABBA and that is Björn storytelling for a tv-production in the beginning. It’s about the swedes who emigrated to America (1/3 or 1/5 of the country)
Fun fact: Peter Jöback (The guy that sings) did the Swedish voice for Aladdin 🧡🧡
