Great quick review, and glad you included the "stupid things" (i.e. all the stuff I would have done) section too!

Is the shaft length adjustable? That is, can it be adjusted to be longer or shorter?

Can this pole saw operate fully-retracted, partially-extended, as well as fully-extended? Or only with the handle fully extended?

David, did ya' dent it ? I was cutting on a large ash tree a few years ago. As Murphy would have it... the limb I was cutting ( I did have it safety roped ) fell at an awkward angle and hit the fiberglass ladder I was on. Sure 'nuff, it cracked the side rail. I learned ! Be safe my buddy . J K

James, It hit the bumper and put just a small dent, nothing major. Seams like any time your on a ladder cutting branches it's going to be a bad day. My truck is 11 years old with 180k miles and not getting the white glove treatment it use to get...

Have you used it to cut brush and small trees off at or near the ground?

I already have a GreenWorks trimmer. Can I just buy the saw attachment?

Has your chain come off any? Is it hard to get the chain back on?

Maybe a couple of times but not a problem to get it back on. I did destroy this a few months ago. Dropped it from 50 feet when a branch almost wiped me out of my lift. I will have to replace it... Thanks!

@@HomesteadEngineering Wow. Let us know what you replace it with.

What is the thickest hardwood you can cut effectively?

I have cut limbs up to 5 inches in diameter with little problem. Best suited for 2-3 inch limbs I think... Thanks!

The "stupid things" section was too short. We need to see more stupid things.

    Is the old tank translucent?
