Great video! Keep on rockin' in the whatever world this is. American west is as good as it gets. Can't wait to get back into nature and travel again. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks Nathan!! So happy you liked the video and hope you get back in the outdoors soon!
Super cool trip! Just bought a packraft and I love the idea of putting in at Rattlesnake Canyon. I backpacked that route to the river a few weeks ago and the trail caught me off guard a bit too, I didn't like the descent. Thanks for the cool route!
Yeah, we loved the route, but it's definitely challenging. Westwater is not for the faint of heart and the hike in gets quite steep!
Super film and fun times!
thanks, david! so glad you liked it!
This was so dope.
glad you liked it!
What a great video! I hope I can do this trip someday with a buddy.
thank you! i hope you get a chance to do it!

thanks, chris! glad you liked the video. jake and I def had an amazing time!!
Hey glad you guys got to do that trip! Great job on the video and the tunes as well! I think I have somewhere around 130 trips down this section and it never gets old!! Y'all come back now ya here...
glad you liked the video! yeah, it was a fantastic trip and i'd love to do it again and try to get through westwater without a flip. 130 times is impressive, but i understand why you'd want to do that section so many times. so beautiful!
Great video. Really enjoyed it!
thanks so much! happy you liked it!
Thanks for the video TR, looks like a fun trip (mostly). Glad you two are okay after swimming skull, that thing is dangerous. Where did you hike up to get the vantage point above skull?
yeah, fortunately the water levels were fairly low comparatively, which makes the room of doom a bit less terrifying. jake hiked up above the room of doom when he lost his packraft. we don't recommend it.
Great video. The water and flows were very low for Westwater. Was this in September or last summer? I have done Westwater 2x on someone elses raft and doing my first trip as the caption in a few weeks. We did it at 10,,500 last summer. The left rock on Funnel was underwater. The wave at the entrance of the Room of Doom was about 15 feet high and almost ended up going over. Great job doing Skull 2X. The determination was appreciated and the filming was great.
We did it in October 2020. The cfs was about 2,550 so very very different conditions than your trip. Sounds like fun!
