I Found a MONSTER Living in a Creepy Tunnel!

- In today’s video, I find MONSTER fish living in a dangerous hidden tunnel! Inside of this tunnel lives venomous snakes, alligators, spiders, deadly fish, and TONS of rare aquarium fish! So we walked through with our nets and fish traps to see what we could catch! We netted around in the tunnel and caught African cichlids, blue crawfish, snakeheads, oscars, AND MORE! We then discovered mysterious sewers inside the tunnel that were INFESTED with snakes and monster fish! So we decided to place our fish traps in there before exploring more of the tunnel! We then found rare freshwater crabs, knife fish, cichlids, and catfish! But we had to turn back after hearing an alligator growl at the end of the tunnel! We left our fish traps sit overnight and ended up catching tons of fish, but we also caught a MASSIVE snake that actually ate one of my fish! So we had to carefully remove the snake so we could take all the fish we caught back to my house to put into my backyard ponds and fish tanks! Should we go back and explore more of the tunnel?

Thank you very much for your work!
I'm always looking up for your list ❤
The pink mystery cichlid is a big pink convict cichlid
Could the mystery catfish in the 2nd trap be a burmese upside down catfish?
I would really like to see all mystery fish of the video upclose in a small container to be able to better identify them!
ur the GOAT🙌🙌
Many thanks, your better than me on the cichlids.
@@BassFishingProductions Hey Bobby, what do you think about displaying the mystery fish at the end of every episode in a small aquarium or container up close so we can have a better view trying to identify them? Mystery fish (and first catches) are one of the most exciting parts of every video.
P.s. Love your work - keep it up 😊👍❤️
@@BassFishingProductionshi can you name ur aba aba knife fish from last video Abbie
Edit: (thanks to a kind person in the comments I have found out that Abbie is the name of the old aba aba knife fish) so I have decided to instead call this one Frankie after the fact that aba aba knife fish are also known as frank fish
You are so brave!! I won’t be able to do what you do. Thank you for saving those fishes
WALK with Helen, too. My daughter wants to see her reactions in the tunnel.
Thank heavens Snappy wasn’t around!! Everyone give Helen some love for being sooo brave!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Not many women would climb into such spider and bug infested tunnels! A real great catch you made there Bobby, please don't butter finger her! 😉

In case anyone was wondering, the crawfish looking thing is called a vampire shrimp! They're filter feeders and great in aquariums since they're friendly.
You can evin use them in breeding tanks as it wont eat your babys
Thank you I came to the comments looking for this answer :b
Thanks my guy

Your fishing skills are good❤
Thank you for saving your community.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
For the videos where you enter small ponds. You don't need an electric pump to drain them. All you need is a big bucket and you can manually drain the water out of the pond.
Seriously, Bobby, get a guide to the native snakes in Florida. Being able to identify the snakes in your area will help you immensely in remaining safe and telling venomous snakes from harmless ones.
He probably knows them all, same with fish but when he asks we comment, CZcams algorithm pushes his video to more people
@MrKamakura77 hahahaha good one but no he doesn't.
THose snakes are pythons.
I agree so much
@@marynaradchenko3724 no shame to you, that’s a good advantage to survival. Tbh idk why people hate nerds. And bully em. There literally the most smartest person (almost) on one subject.
(The reason I say “almost” is because there could be more species or smth, we’ve only discovered so much abt our world.)
Bobby remember to bring large thick gloves for snakes to get them outa fish traps safely knocking them around til they fall out can cause permanent brain damage
watching your videos before I sleep or after school whenever it always is enjoyable

Bro is literally standing next to a dead peacock bass like it’s an every day kinda thing 😂😂😂
The big crawfish lookin shrimp you caught is a very rare and expensive type of shrimp that comes from Africa. It is called by many names, some of which include Atya Gabonesis, African fan Shrimp, or a vampire shrimp. They are filter feeders, and can only breed in brackish (as far as anyone knows). Although they look menacing, they are extremley peaceful, and (as the name suggests), only eat particles in the water. Seeing as they are very rare, peaceful, and relativley defenseless, it is likley not a good idea to keep it with crawfish.
blue fan shrimp from Gabun Africa .. i have 3 of them in my fishtank :)
They live in freshwater but their offspring need brackish-/saltwater to evolve.

Lots of energy here. My brother and I began exploring culverts, ponds and any place that had water. We seen many fish but our focus was on tree frogs and we brought a lot of the home. Later in life we still explored. Now I explore with my son..Great video..and Florida residents are legendary for releasing their pets into the wild so be careful you don't meet an Electric Eel..
Yup
People keep electric eels as pets?! Those things are dangerous! They should be illegal to keep as pets, imo.
Thaks you frend❤❤
Hey Bobby you need to carry around one of those pocket size laminated Snake identification charts.
You also need to put ropes on all of your traps, before you get hurt trying to retrieve one.
Love your videos, so glad Helens back. She is so brave!!!
If he has cell service and a smart phone he can look them up online within minutes.
Even if he can't until later on he should check when he gets a chance so he can learn. Online you can always find lists of snakes in your state of the US.
I imagine other countries have something similar.
I think tht crawl fish was a albino crawl fish
My daughter happened across your channel several weeks ago and now our whole family is addicted! Such fun and educational content! Thank you!
Mine too, it was a proud daddy moment. I caught her watching and she would come and ask me about the names of the fishes. I’m so happy she’s interested in the hobby. She’s only 7.
"stop.. you're going in the bucket... you're done"🤣
My family loves your videos so so much ❤. Thank you for the videos you have made. My kids dare you to WALK through the whole tunnel!!!🩵😊
There was a person half a dozen or so videos back that names each mystery species and their time slots. I miss them 😕

I love snakes. I study them for junior high science project. I don’t know what it’s called, but I study them I’ve had to deal with rattlesnakes copperheads, water moccasins and a whole Lotta other snakes, venomous, and non-venomous. I love you. Going to watch the rest of your videos that I missed on my trip by
You caught a nice Banded Water Snake. A nonvemonous native snake here. These are a common snake to find if you are in more aquatic areas. And that Gator to is beautiful and cute 🥰
Thank you
cool
wheres the gator
@@DreacoPlays I realized my mistake and meant to say snake oof
@@patgamingdragonmomtv5985 I agree but I think they mean’t the snappy because maybe they thought that this video the fishing people found snappy in this video but in reality they found snappy in another video so I hope I helped 😊
The crustacean is probably a vampire shrimp. Seen them at my LFS plenty of times
The snake looked like a water snake. Nonvenomous and actually pretty friendly (I might just be weird tho). Triangular heads being venomous is not a good identification method, their nostrils and scale pattern are generally how I identify snakes
Yes, or the shape of the eyes.
I'm in PA but our water snakes look similar to those in the video.
@@Ateezwooyoung Shape of the eye actually isn't accurate either. All snakes have slit pupils in sunlight. (Round when in shade)
(The eye socket shape and eye shape itself are also the same across most venomous/Non-venomous snakes)
@@Simplymarsilyit's known for a name called Atya Gabonesis. (maybe) and it's a very rare and expensive vampire-crawfish. It is totally menacing as it is very peaceful.
I DK if anyone saw this at the start of the video, but when he was showing us the big part of the tunnel where you could fish easier there was a little gecko in the corner
Hey Bobby and Helen I love your channel love seeing all the different fish it's great you save all these fish found out. Today my 7 year old grandson also loves your channel keep it up 🐠🐠🐟🐟
That chubby fish that you think resembles a Mayan cichlid puts me in mind of a bonsai parrot fish or a type of flowerhorn. So glad you didn’t get bit by a snake or the beautiful Helen!
Hi
parrot fish was where my brain went too
If u get good at identifying snakes u can tell by the scale pattern on the sheds.. also that crab was awsome hope u catch more of em!
Good Day once more Mr. Bobby and Miss Helen . It's good to see and hear that you're much more Healthier. : ) keep taking them Vite-a-mins , they won't hurt , cuzz you can get the Gummy Kind lol .
Can you give a tour of your ponds by any chance? I think that would be cool!
You should go back to the abandoned pool. Love watching you save fish!
The mystery shrimp you caught is a giant African shrimp or vampire shrimp. They feed with little fans as arms catching food that moves through the water.
I have one, they grow upto 6 inches.
😮
Venomous snakes have distinct heads. While non-venomous snakes have a rounded head, venomous snakes have a more triangular-shaped head. The shape of a venomous snake's head may deter predators. However, some non-venomous snakes can mimic the triangular shape of non-venomous snakes by flattening their heads
Evolution - simple as that! xx
Just an awesome catch today! Helen has a keen eye seeing that clown knife fish, awesome blue crayfish , so many different species. Great video Bobby and Helen, can’t wait for the next video!❤
I love how you can find the craziest fishing spots and find so much joy making content. Keep up the good work man. You never fail to entertain us and make us laugh.
you ever wonder how he does it just think about it no one runs across this much shit especially where he lives
What
The ripsaw catfishes: Ima pinch ya” XD
To me that snake looks like a python of some sort
Keep exploring that tunnel. You 2 are the best. Helen, girl I give you thumbs up for going into the tunnel with Bobby!!! You go girl👍👍👍👍. Love these videos . Puts a smile on my face when I watch them
Hey Helen, a shout out to you, your braver than I am to go to help catch fish, in some of these places.
Hey you two. Interesting post today. Glad the tortoise isn’t in imminent danger. I thought I would share with you what a camp ground we went to when I was a kid. It had a large lean-to building and in it was a camp historical natural history museum. Over the years interesting items would be found and displayed in it or posters with pictures showing camp historical events. I remember learning to count rings in a tree trunk stump. If it falls over to find out how old is it. You guys should do the same thing. It would be so cool.
So love your excitement
One thing you haven't considered, those water gates could open @ any point during a random flash flood. Helen and you could find yourselves in deep water, literally. Plus those 🐍
Snake was harmless as a puppy.
Was just thinking the exact same...Flashfloods are no joke
@@Ateezwooyoung Do you really think thats the only snake/ species around 🤡
For what its worth it is also illegal to release any invasive species once caught.
Thank you Bobby for posting a video on my granddaughter’s 6th birthday today! She and I watch your videos together when I am there. We enjoy all the adventures that you go through. You Bobby and Helen have some nerve, they may not be venomous snakes, but they are still scary big! Explore that tunnel completely, it could be quite awesome.
Aww, happy belated birthday 🎉 for your granddaughter. Getting little ones interested in nature is one of the best things you can do ❤
@@mystifiedmargot1970 Thank you for the birthday wishes for her, it is much appreciated!
I think that snake with the triangles on its back is called a Northern Diamond-Backed Watersnake
Your girlfriend is an amazing job of filming. And you have such an exciting personality. I'm enjoying your series. Keep being so enthusiastic. It is so refreshing.
Hey Bobby, i have only been watching you for a couple of months now. I love you enthusiasm! The more you get the higher your excitement is contagious. I would never go through to the whole tunnel. 1 not enough sunlight to maintain a healthy fish environment and all you will get is blind fish. That was definitely a male alligator or worse a guarding female. I would let it alone. Great knowledge on most of your fish.

You handled the snakes like no other, no wow! Great journey!
So good to see you keeping more fish

Bobby, what happened with the fish net that you can keep in the water with the fish you catch? It's the red net that fishermen use instead of a bucket 🪣.
Do an update on all the fish in your ponds and tanks I’d love to see how they are doing :)

I do🤗
My mom and i laughed when you caught the snake and said...OMG I THINK ITS PISSED OFF!!!
Bobby and Helen, that was a really exciting episode and an amazing catch. Yes, please, for a return visit to the tunnel.
Kind of true😂
I love your videos and how you get scared of snakes and spiders 😂😂
Totally excellent haul of unusual species. Well done! I'm torn between the ghost knife and the royal plec, as being my favorite catch.
The crab is a Lady Crab (yes that's the species name LOL!) as ID'd by my 7yr old. She and I watch your channel together a lot. She wants to be a marine biologist one day 🥰
The snakes looks like a brown water snake which is non-venomous but can be aggressive. They look very similar to cottonmouths so dont go around picking up snakes that look like that without kowing exactly what you are looking at.
Fun fact: you can calm down fish by tickling their belly
Yay its BFP time🎉 !!! Best part of my day!😊 I love the tunnel fishing 🎣.
You have the coolest girlfriend ever you need to add more of her to your videos
It's a little funny how both snakes were on opposite ends
Bro helan deserves so much credit as well
It just keeps getting scarier and more intense! Love, love ,love what you do! Tell us more about how you enjoy/interact with these fish after you take them home. Do your friends and family love fish too?
Hi
😅😅
Another great video. I wonder how many fish youve saved since the start, and whats your favourite
You should make a video about catching snake heads
This guy can never make a video without saying “You guys”
You should take the Molly’s home and put them in the modamoda turtle pond
Mata-mata. :)
Great Video😊 Have you ever thought about doing an hour long video? I really think that would be Awesome of course this is my opinion👍 Again Great Video❣️
Agreed!
I would pay money to see a good hour long one. Pay per view content Bobby, think about it.
I just need to take a moment and say - WOW! It is so awesome that you are doing this. For me, it is the enthusiasm that you display and the passion you have to rescue these fish. I dunno if you resell them to places but just the fact you pull them out of some of the craziest places and give them a home...I applaud you brother.
It’s a rattlesnake it was born with no rattle. It’s rare for it to happen.
Awesome video as always! The snake looks like a non-venomous brown water snake.
It’s a brown water snake- HARMLESS
I like your fish is so cool
Since you are close enough to the snakes, the easiest way to tell venomous from non is their pupils. Round pupils are harmless, while cat-like pupils mean they're venomous. Hope that helps!!! Bad news is that you do have to get close enough to see their eyes to be able to tell if they're venomous or not. :P
I am sorry but that is completely inaccurate advice!
Risking his own life just to show how nature is so amazing? give this guy a big applause :)
for real bruh this guy is a goat
Love your videos! Never stop making them! My kids watch them with me too.
5:14 the bird almost jumpscared me
5:14 yeah the duck got me 💀
My arachnophobia could never
Awesome video! We definitely need a part 2 with more trap’s please!!
Bobby, you will know if you catch a cottonmouth, they have a defense mechanism where they put off a really bad smell.
Well a lot of snake have that mechanism, thats not a good indicator , Just like the Shape of the head isn’t either.
Yep! Triangular head on a water snake usually means water moccasin which is very venomous (dont get bit!) BUT- many snakes imitate their triangular head shape to seem more threatening, I dont think that snake was a water moccasin but better safe than sorry, stay safe you two❣
That snake in the scary tunnel was a ball python😮😂
Pretty cool catches 😎
Hope you go back to that abandoned pond before the new owners move in !!! 😊
You should catch as much blue and red crawl fish and make a habitat for them and breed them 👍
