Welcome to our last New Year’s MEP!
This time we decided it would be a good idea to remember all of our years in CZcams and edit a decade of songs!
Some of this songs were already edited in earlier MEPs. So why not trying again with our style few years later?
2018 was an amazing year. We have reached 6 years since the first MEP we uploaded. I can’t be more proud of MDS as I am today. We achieved a lot of things. We got lots of beautiful members, lost some others, but got some awesome time to make beautiful MEPs together.
Thank you for the opportunity of hosting this iconic MEP. I might not talk to all the members but you’re all amazing. I wish you the best of the best. You’re all beautiful souls and deserve all the happiness.

As for the people supporting our work, words are not enough for us to thank you for your views for your love, for your support. You have made MDS what it is today. YOU ALL made MDS a LEGEND.

I'd be lying if I said I'm not a little bittle emotional now. I've been editing with MDS for so long - I mean, seriously, so LONG - that only now I truly realized it's the end, the last MEP together. Then we're closing. Bye bye. No more MEPs. Guys, I'm gonna cry! This is such a beauty and such a masterpiece, filled with love, passion, personal style and AMAZING TEAMWORK THAT LET US FINISHED SUCH A LONG THING IN SUCH A SHORT TIME. This is truly what MDS is all about.

I've been watching this channel since 2013, I was 12. Thank you for so many years of great meps, they inspired me so much when I made amvs. I'll be an adult in a month. Sad to see you'll be going. MDS has been around sinds I was 14 and Ive gotten so attached to the studio and the whole community in general, yt has been my escape sinds I was in highschool (and the reason I started editing myself), so crazy how fast time goes by, editing has brought me so much joy, and even helped me develop my skills as a motion designer.
Crazy how much of an impact this studio and every other studio has had in my life. Forever greatful

Literally was speechless the entire time and I heard of the news, when I saw the first few seconds and saw the words last mep pop up I felt sad. The entire mep was beautiful and absolutely incredible!! I never expected tears to prickle in my eyes the more I watched it and I'm not sure if it's because the mep is so beautiful, or if it's because it gave me some huge nostalgia (god wait I gotta cry this out first).. (I'm back lol) but yeah perhaps it's both. I remember when I was young, maybe 8? 9? younger? a bit older? and I just remember stumbling across these meps and this channel and it literally amazed me and brought light to my life. It was a tough period for me back then but your colorful and fun meps and all of it never failed to make me smile again and again. I remember seeing them and thinking "wow I want to do that too!" and so I got sucked in. Even though I quit later, I made it back to another fandom's editing community and I started watching all the meps that were created in my absence and I remember how much I missed these amazing editors and meps. I've gotten a shit load of friends and amazing people I love to hell and back ever since I joined the community and I can't thank you enough because it all started here, I've never been more glad that I saw all of you guys' amazing work. Although this greatly saddens me, I respect the decision and I hope all of you have an amazing life! You guys have all done an amazing job and you've inspired so many young people out there, you've given us so much happiness, joy and a great past (childhood, etc.). THANK YOU MDS!

I came back to this beautiful Amv Mashup to remember one of the best year for a great animes and best music. It's so nostalgic that all this resembles all of our youth thanks to this mash up. We can always remember the days that we can have a normal year and life. All I can say i wish we can bring back this golden days.

I'm late as hecc but i can't believe this is the last new year MEP from MDS.
Mad Desires has been like a family to me thanks to its members and leaders that i've met through the years. You guys helped me not only to grow as an editor but as a person too. We all live and go through different ways but always managed to edit something when we were free (with Bren's whip too cofcofcof ;) ) but we already reached this point and i am so thankful and happy that we all grew this much.
Before I joined MDS I used to see it as an impossible dream to bond with so many people from not only different countries but to bond w/ppl from my country who likes to edit as I do. Thank you guys. 💙 for everything. 💙

Oh my god this is amazing. You guys always have the best MEPs and this is probably one of my favorites, I'm in awe. I seriously love every single bit of this (even if I haven't seen most of these animes, it's absolutely gorgeous). I especially loved seeing IDOLiSH7, Free!, Dakaichi, Haikyuu, AoT, Dramatical Murder, Junjou Romantica, and there's probably more lol. This is seriously the best thing ever. (Time to go rewatch a million times)

Ah I’m so sad that the studio will be closing! This studio was a big apart of why and how I started editing 6 years ago 💛 it’s crazy how I was only 12 when I found this studio and became so attached to it. I’m so glad I decided to try and start editing because now I’ll be going to college for graphic/video production and design! You guys have shaped a lot of our passions for editing and I couldn’t say thank you enough for always putting your all into each MEP. Sincerely wishing every single one of you the best!!
