Andrews Jayan Probably not bro - because this is one of the few times Thanos isn’t holding back. And Thanos is even stronger than Thor and even more durable so I doubt Tony would do damage. Especially considering that Thanos has his double edged sword to block attacks and use to cut through the armour. I’m not underrating Iron Man - just making sure not to undersell Thanos either. He also gets criminally underrated.

Well noticed, however there is a very simple explanation: in the time that Cap grabbed Mjolnir Thanos would've used that as an opportunity to grab his sword. I mean he wouldn't be starring in awe like the rest of us.

Yes absolutely, Thanos has held back for nearly all his fights in infinity war and finally managed to showcase more of his strength here. And yes I agree that if Tony was wearing his Mark 50 armour he’d do much more damage and if Thor wasn’t overweight and nerfed down he would of beaten Thanos all by himself imo.

@@manueldaquino4242 The Mark 50 from Infinity War is more powerful, as it was deigned by Tony to battle intergalactic threats and defend the world by itself. 85 was designed to perform the snap. Hence Tony fought Thanos MUCH better in IW than Endgame.
85 is still the most durable Iron Man armour though.

@@anidiot4992 Thor's hammer Mjolnir isn't bladed and doesn't have a sharp end, so it isn't even the right shape to cut through Cap's shield. Had Thor used a bladed uru weapon, like Stormbreaker, Cap's shield would be left in a 1000 pieces. And anyways, Thor didn't hit with all his strength. If he wanted to he probably could of destroyed Cap's shield even with a blunt weapon like Mjolnir.

Like as far as we know Odin’s spear Gungnir can’t be summoned like Thor’s hammers can.

Thor is much, much weaker and slower here than in Infinity war, and Iron man's armour is designed for a different purpose, rather than heavy combat like it was in Infinity war. Plus Thanos is physically much stronger than all of the Avengers and much more deadly. Had Cap not got Thanos by surprise, he wouldn't of done any better than the other 2.

Fair points. And just in general Thanos is one of the most overpowered comic book villains in movie history. He can literally do whatever he wants with the full infinity gauntlet. With all six stones Thanos is completely unrivaled by anyone else from any other franchise basically.

Because I used to watch Danco’s videos all the time and comment stating my opinion, but all the toxic dc fans kept harassing me calling me biased MCU fanboy and literally traumatising me to the point that I was thinking about deleting my channel. And all of that just because I had a different opinion to them 🤦 So I decided to just quit watching danco for life and will never go anywhere near a video that may be invested with toxic dc fanboys. A lot of the time I'd just write a comment saying something like "I think Thor wins this" or "I think Iron Man wins this" and some toxic DC fanboy would reply in such an aggressive, angry way as if I'd just been offensive or something. Owen was alright to begin with and I'll admit that I was the one who started being horrible to him. I was just scrolling through the comments of a video on Superman vs Thanos and all I could see was stupid ignorant DC fanboys. I was replying to a lot of them in hope they'd learn something and Owen must've seen my reply and in a rather rude way started an argument. In this fight, yes, however both Thor and Iron Man have put up good fights for Thanos in Infinity War as well. Thor would've killed Thanos had he aimed for the head. And Iron Man drew blood from the Mad Titan.
Also remember that Scarlet Witch overpowered Thanos in 1 on 1 combat and nearly killed him, whilst Captain Marvel was able to push back his hand.

Well, Thanos is basically the most durable being in the universe, so despite Cap’s power with Mjolnir it only really annoyed him.
To be honest thors axe is terrible in short range but excellent in medium to long range.....
