Be social, be friendly but don't get attached, and influenced by them.
You should be able to see the difference between true friends from fake friends.
It can be really hard sometimes except with Allah guidance. Lot of dangerous chameleons out there.
You can't think that way, because majoriti of people these day have different way of thinking what is fake and true friends
@@funnyman12731 that's why you shouldn't get attached to someone. You gotta be friends with them, get to know them and see what they will do in your time of greatest need. That way you will see the difference between true friends and fake friends.

I don't have any muslim friends, only Christians. So I told my Christian friend that I'm really trying to avoid music and all that especially in the month of Ramadan. We would FaceTime because of the pandemic, and subhan'Allah, so sweet of her to do. She would turn off the microphone whenever she would listen to music a bit, or whenever there was the noise of any instruments. I also remember she also would wait a couple minutes, because I had to pray. She was so patient! She still is though😊 I don't know why I just wrote this, but it just came to my mind.
SubhanAllah! Remember to be grateful to Allah for such a good company 😊. Do share the message of Islam with your friend in the best way you can.

I’ve never had true friends. I have no friends. I’m used to being rejected, and I always expect it. I used to go after people and trying my best to please them and befriend them but I stopped doing that now. Yes, I do feel lonely sometimes but I have patience that someone who follows the deen will be my friend one day and they will influence me in a good way.

I had a really toxic friends circle who I thought were my close friends. I was basically used, mistreated, talked about, taken advantage of, bullied, used as a scapegoat, looked down upon. I was so dumb I let all this go on for about 5 years. To be honest, I would love to hear what they have to say on the day of judgment. Because I told allah everything in my duas and he saw everything. It mentally took a toll on me. I would never stand up for myself. When I finally stood up for myself, I was the bad guy and everyone made me look like the bad person because I had finally snapped. Till this day those scars those people did to me still remain and bug me. Alhumdulilah though, a year ago I kept making sincere dua to Allah that remove these people and please bring a positive friend into my life that will bring back the part of me I lost. Allah answered my duas. I had a client come into my work and we got to talking and he was actually a boxing trainer and I love boxing so we bonded over that. Now we’re really great friends, he does boxing sessions with me every week, we chill, and he’s motivated me and brought so much positivity in my life that I have forgotten about the toxic circle I was part of. he’s also taught me so much just as a person and I’m so greatful to Allah that he put him in my life and that people like him exists. He pulled me out of a situation I felt like I was sinking it.
I'm going through the same thing SubhanAllah and what's worse I'm a single mom, my home was used so much they came and lived with me like wormed their way in, always took off me n I was never able to prioritise my kids cos of how much was placed on me. When I noticed it I didn't allow to happen that badly but sometimes it was still done because i never knew ppl can use u in these days k struggle so much because its affected my kids not been able to spend time with them because of these ppl came and took over. I hope Allah is watchful because it hurts that I didn't put my kids first

today i found myself subconsciously back biting around this one particular person that brings out the bad in me, I'm not gonna blame it on them, its my fault, but i've come to notice that this friendship has a net negative on both of our lives. I'm a highly influenced person because im constantly seeking validation from others, I need to start validation from Allah (PBUH) only.

I’ve distance myself to focus on my deen and after a while one of them accused me of back biting of them which I never done so I let the person know that this was false but she just didn’t give me the opportunity to speak so I ended it. I’m 99% sure that was made up by her and she told to her close fiends but allahu Alam.

So I had some "friends" for 5 years. After a time they complained that I always remind them when they do sth wrong. This year I decided to take a distance from them. Alhamdullilah they would have lead me to the wrong way. Of course I reminded them privately and in a good way. I always love when people also remind me

I edited 2 videos for my friend which had music in it, I didn’t want to upload any videos that had songs and music in my channel so I thought it was fine because the video which I edited for my friend wasn’t on my channel. But then, I realized it’s like we partnered with each other, so even if it’s not on my channel, I would still earn bad deeds, just now, like 5-10 minutes ago, I asked my friend to delete the 2 videos so we don’t earn bad deeds and his answer was just so disappointing. Now I don’t know what to do, he started making excuses that, I have to go now bro and he started trying to change the topic
I need help my friend would always bringing me down and I keep staying in this friendship and I feel drain and sad everytime. The sad thing is they in the same group as me and I'm scared she would message me stuff asking what I got in exam and compare it. Can you help how were u so strong enough to let go?

In fact, those who do that to you aren’t even called friends.
The definition of a friend is she or he is always supporting you and helping you when you are in trouble. They are loyal to you/honest/they defend you/they don’t bring you down/trustworthy/ they don’t talk bad.
Your friends are probably using you, you should just be straight with them and say:
if you keep talking shit about me and keep bringing me down and comparing me to others, I won’t ever talk to you until you say sorry and that sorry should be from heart otherwise I don’t care about you.
If they laugh or ignore you then they don’t even consider you a friend and you are being used
I tell everyone my problems but at the end of the day only Allah really cares. People might empathize and say a few kinds words to you temporarily or even do the opposite and cause you more harm but Allah will uplift you and completely change your life if you really reach out to Him. Oh Allah, make us amongst those that fulfill our obligations and to remember you, thank you, and worship you in the best way and keep us steadfast on our Deen.

I just cried because all this time I have wanted a friend to be close with, my family has moved my hole life everywhere inside this non muslim country, and now to a new place again where I know no one here but this time with my husband who I just married and his family, elhamdulillah
But the feeling I have had in me my hole life, that I wanted a close friend/sister was still there
I was always thinking, why don't any of my friendship lasts (there isn't a lot of muslim people living here), why is no one giving as much love back as I give to them, I don't feel alone but at the same time, it is always good to have a sister to talk to and be with
And only 2 minutes in to this video, I realized that the reason that I have been far from people all this time, where I find myself sitting here and listening to Mufti Menk and learning more and more about islam, made me cry because I realized that maybe if I had a "friend" and did hold on to those who call them selves a friend, but really isn´t, I would maybe not have as much time to learn about islam and be closer to Allah, I am so thankful to be here and learning more about islam and what Allah has created

I believe to always read ur 5 namaaz and then study. If u have time to read Qur'an, then u can read
I would prefer leave all dunya things and focus akhirat but that sound hard to do, because the world is full of people that chasing for good life (having money) even some Muslim chase money. Cuz maybe they lack of knowledge about their religion
After each prayer give 5 minutes to know the tafseer of quran ...and 5 minutes for zikr and tasbeeh
