Transmission Tower Replacement Project

  • A project in Richmond, TX located near Grand Mission subdivision. Video was taken 6/17/2022. According to a worker, some towers were originally installed at a slant by design. They are being replaced.

    Do you know why they’re replacing lattice towers with poles? They’re doing that in my area since the freeze back in 2021

      Not sure. It could be that the towers were reaching end of life. Poles require less land.

      @@UAVHobbyistnever mind I read an article about a new 345kv construction in my area that they’re building lattice towers. They’re gonna use AEP’s new bold structure.
