A Geologic Tour of the Northern Jemez Mountains

Geologist Kirt Kempter joined the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) to give a virtual tour of the Northern Jemez Mountains in New Mexico.
This program was PEEC's February Nature On Tap program, a collaborative program between PEEC and the Los Alamos Creative District.

Mt Taylor Uranium mine at around 1500 feet there was a lot of sea shells coming out of the shaft and there was a under ground river to .around 1800 feet some I guess that part was under water at one point
