Damnn Halberd V2 is already seems like an instant modern classic at this point, it’s in everyone pedalboard/top pedal of the year, and it’s on those lists for a reason!
Absolutely! I can't recommend it enough
It’s amazing, the hype is real. Only pedal that was able to knock my old ktr off my board. It’s so authoritative and tight without being over compressed. It moves air and the harmonic content is so pleasing. You can get so percussive, killer for riffing.
Liked before watching, from the thumbnail alone I can tell this board is 100% my taste.
PS: I mainly leave comments like these to feed the algo in an attempt to boost your channel's visibility, but I do appreciate that you (NG) always read and like them. Cheers!
I really appreciate it! 😊
Thank you. Can't wait to hear this record!
💙
That’s awesome. Love the range of sounds you get out of that setup. BTW - completely agree re: CGC’s Meteore - that and the Parabola never leave my board.
Thank you! Yeah, the Meteore is the greatest. I really need to get a Parabola at some point! I've played it a few times and it sounds incredible, I've been wanting to grab one for a while now!
Love the uniqueness of the signal chain. Great sounds.
Thank you!
Super sweet!
So many great tones! Really impressed with how the Cascader sounded here. Pleased to see you running the modulated delay into dirt, which is something I tend to do myself.
Happy Holidays, have a great new year
Thanks man! Happy holidays to you too! 🙂
Fantastic build! So many incredible options.
Thanks Alex!
Sweeet! I have the Meteore, Somersault and HP-X. The sounds you make with those are so inspiring. 💯🔥
Thanks so much man!
How many delays and fuzzes and overdrives can you fit on a board? - Brendan: YES.
Haha! Guilty
Holy crap man! This is epic! Killer sounds in here! 🤯
Thanks dude!
tasty board, well done!!!
Thank you!
Awesome board!
sick
Thanks for includeing Cascader! My hot take is that Agustus is the best octave fuzz. Ive suggested it above my own stuff
Of course dude! I love it so much. And I might have to agree on the Augustus! It's pretty much exactly what I want an octave fuzz to be
Great sounds!
Thank you!
Great board, and awesome rundown! Really jealous of your T120. I had a V1 DLX for a while, but had to sell it.
Sad times. 😔
Thanks man! Hope you find another T120 someday, I love that pedal so much!
Purchased the Greer Sure Shot. Well built, but tonewise it sucks! Just returned it and will still to look for an ideal boost to work for guitar solos.
Halberd V2 strikes again. Have you tried it on bass? U like? Rad board my dude!
Thanks! Yes, the Halberd is awesome on bass! You can hear some solo bass sounds at the end my demo of the V1, and then I also used it on bass in the intro tracks in both the V1 and V2 demos. It's got plenty of low end to hold up, and it sounds great!
New to the channel, love it! What's the band called?
Great board!! Does the buffer in the Halberd effect the Valderin at all?
What band do you play in? Sounds great.
Thank you! We're called A Fragile Tomorrow afragiletomorrow.bandcamp.com/
How did you get 17 pedals to work with the Phoenix? I know there is a way to split the power wires but I have no idea how.
And did you use your typical setup of a Jazzmaster -> Hot Rod Deluxe -> Torpedo Captor ??
Great video man
PS do you need a buffer? Lol
I just used a splitter on one of the inputs! Just like a daisy chain Y cable. And yep, same setup as always! I'm using the pink Jazzmaster with the WRHBs here.
Haha! The good ol' Boss TU-3 buffer is getting me by alright for now!
@@noisegenerator do you use a cab emulator in your torpedo? Or is it just to record with? I’ve been considering buying one for awhile now
@@codymcgrew4015 I’m not using the built-in speaker sim on the Captor (mine’s the older version, not the X, so it doesn’t sound particularly great) so I’m just using it as a load box and then using the Wall of Sound plugin for my cab simulation in Pro Tools! I think the Captor X is more or less a load box with Wall of Sound built in anyway, so that’s basically the setup I’m using. It’s great, definitely recommend!
Any potential release date for the album? Super stooooked.
Not quite sure yet, we're just about finished mixing and will be figuring out release with the label very soon! Hoping maybe spring though!
@@noisegenerator whats the band called? link to older material or other projects? love your demo tracks
@@MackTheKnifeSlowly Thanks! :) The band is called A Fragile Tomorrow. Our most recent album is here: afragiletomorrow.bandcamp.com/
I have another band called So Sure too, here's our first EP: open.spotify.com/album/3jK1quvJ0RPlL4icmE646m?si=_pAx8E6SSJaQgHRymq8-Yg
when does the album come out?
Not exactly sure yet, we just finished up mixing, but I'm hoping maybe spring!
Whats the name of your band?
you need to sell some of those pedals and buy better amp
I’m good!
