As recorded in the news, recently the song 'Selos' has caused an uproar on social media, especially in the Philippines and its surroundings. Moro Shaira with her song 'Selos' (Jealous) succeeded in making the song popular, even though the song was removed from the streaming platform on March 19 due to a copyright claim from Australian singer and songwriter Lenka entitled "Trouble Is A Friend" which released in 2008. It is known that the melodic elements contained in the song 'Selos' were used by Shaira when she recorded the song under the auspices of the AHS Productions label.
However, from the latest information, AHS Production itself has made a direct statement on Facebook regarding the excitement and inconvenience of various parties and has apologized to Lenka. AHS Production is currently in the process of obtaining a "cover license" to be able to re-release 'Selos.' It is possible that in the future AHS Production and management will come up with a solution to share profits with Lenka regarding royalties earned on the song 'Selos' which sounds similar to Lenka's hit 'Trouble Is A Friend'.
