- Three Appling County Georgia Jail guards are being sued for allegedly standing by while their colleague appeared to choke a restrained inmate.
The lawsuit claims Officers Daydan, Brannon, Cannon Mcleod, and Ansley Fennell did nothing to stop 60-year-old William Rentz. from choking 37-year-old Tremar Harris, who was restrained in a chair.
Roland spoke with Civil Rights Attorney, Harry Daniels about this alarming incident.

They know the camera is there but they have qualified immunity so they don't mind if the camera is there or not
Where no one else agrees, I will. We ARE paying out of our pockets to have these cops protect us...that's how they get paid. And every time they do something illegal or behave like this, regular folks like us, pay double to handle these issues. There needs to be laws put in place to keep these racist cops from being re-hired...even across state lines.

You’re exactly correct. My son was in the Illinois Pontiac prison between 2011-2012. Walked in a normal person. Came out looking like a Zombie with mental illness due to a Doctor misdiagnosing/ overly medicating him to the point of causing him to be a mental illness patient with a chemical imbalance. She gave him medication he did not need. He’s never been on drugs. She gave him medication for Heroin withdrawals, Parkinson disease medication and medication for a person that’s schizophrenia. My son had none of these problems before prison. They all shot him with a unknow medication that I can’t remember. All because he touched the warden to get his attention. Guards bulrushes him attacking him and he tried getting them off him. My son said they beat him, held him down while a nurse gave him a shot of something that had him woozy in less than two minutes. Then they put him in the hole. The next day at lunch time. The guard pushed his food though the shoot with enough force to make it land and the floor. Then told him eat off the floor. When my son asked for another tray of food. Guards came in and beat him, put his face in the toilet to drown him, beat him some more and took him to the psych ward. Telling him he’s going to Disney world. The doctor forced him to take medication. Even with him refusing too. They forced him! When my son was released from prison. He couldn’t talk, couldn’t dress himself, couldn’t feed himself and would sit staring at the walls. His probation officer said as a part of his parole he had to continue to take the medication given to him from the prison. A friend took my son to the ER and the ER doctor said to flush the medicine and never give it to him again. Told her what each medication was for and since he’s never been previously diagnosed before prison. The medications would eventually kill him. I believe deep in my heart that the Pontiac prison doctor in Illinois is purposely giving young black men these medications to destroy them all. My son is not the same person he were before prisons. It’s 2024 and he’s recently had a mental breakdown, talking in riddles, talking about all the horrible things the guards and the doctor did to him in prison. I’ve been trying to reach someone to investigate this doctor. The doctor name is Dr. Morano. She is evil. I had a dream that someone was harming my son. In my dream he was yelling Mama help me. I woke up! Called my sister whom is a retired federal attorney. She didn’t believe my dream until she asked one of her colleagues whom was overseeing that district to check on him. He called her to say your sister dream was real. I live in Texas when this was happening to my son. Hopefully Monday I will hear back from someone. I’ve contacted an Attorney and awaiting his call back. It’s more to my son’s story. However that doctor in that prison needs investigated and stopped. She refused to give me information on my son. I had to call the Warden. Being that I am his emergency contact. The warden told her to give me all of what I asked. I can’t wait to expose that evil racist doctor to the world. When my son got somewhat better 3 years after his release. He told me what happened to him. As of now he’s somewhat back to how he was before. He doesn’t sleep, has black outs, stares off into space and has been mute over a week now. These ppl fucked my son up mentally.
Please know this crap also happens in our schools. There are racists teachers, principals and other staffers.

The movie "The Stanford Prison Experiment " (based on a true story), is a good example, showing how ppl in authority take advantage of others who don't have when allowed. I came 2 understand how power dynamics play a part in all of our Systems by watching this film. Before giving someone a position of power, they must see all ppl as human beings 1st.

This behavior happens at USP Coleman located in the state of Florida. So much happens at Coleman prison facilities that are not right and covered up by the guards, whom many may be contract workers. Many politicians have stock in these prisons, particularly, state facilities. The federal prison in Florida needs the Inspector General to investigate. The Bureau of Prison needs a total over haul from top down. There appears to be no accountability of the prison staff at Coleman.
