You can see in this video just how happy Yoko made John. He had such a sad life, losing his mother the way he did and I know he knew riches and success from a very early age, but that sadness would have stayed with him. When the Beatles disbanded and John went and had his successful career, Yoko was there supporting him and loving him and that was just what John needed. I don't believe that she was a gold digger, as some might say she was, as when like in this video you see the way she looks at him you see that her love for him is genuine and deep. I am so glad John, the man who gave us so much beautiful music in his short life, knew and had the happiness of true love. He really deserved that.
I read interview with their assistants and they said they were totally in love and a team. I think Sam Havadtoy was just a friend, I may be nieve , but I doubt he moved in as a bf the day after John died. Even Get Back showed her to not be like the books say ie constantly interrupting and forcing herself on every situation....

Regardless of what people's personal feelings are towards Yoko Ono or their opinion on the circumstances surrounding how the Lennon/Ono relationship started, there is no denying, some of the the most beautiful songs John ever composed were the ones he wrote about her. She evoked a tenderness in him that nobody else ever did. Cynthia Lennon even acknowledged in her autobiography that she knew she had truly lost John the day he met Yoko.

I've loved this from the first time heard it. So simple on guitar and piano, but perfect.
This man changed my life and I know hundreds of millions of others. I never realized how much he loved Yoko and vice versa until recently. It tells me how many of us were influenced wrongly by the media and Beatles historians. But this song and its video has its own expression of the true meaning of the word, Love. Can you imagine if he was still with us today what he would have created?
