This song is not a final boss fight or something, it's just Pico desperately making time to Nene and Skid to escape and resisting how he can, in this song he isn't pushing the bar because the battle is alr over, he doesn't have enough forces only bullets

What do you mean by not enough forces? Like allies to resist his soul's corruption with him or something? That'd actually be a cool plot idea that the magnitude of people's hopes can collectively slow down or even resist the Corruption.
Pico went down like a hero, shooting bf relentlessly to buy time for skid and nene to escape. The images flashing at the end as well before pico goes beserk....nene and skid running away, tabi and whitty surrounded, ruv by himself, lila cornered by lemon demon and dd finding corrupt gf. I think it foreshadows that along with the original victims(skid,pump, mm, senpai, spirit and dd) we could eventually have to face whitty, tabi and ruv as well and lila cornered by lemon demon will probably play a role for skid and pump's week, i wonder what nene is going to do to protect skid if both lila and pump are corrupted
I think it'd be pretty cool if Corrupted Lila was chasing after Nene & Skid for they're week. Like maybe Nene & Skid are talking and Corrupted Lila overhears Skid's voice and see them, and starts to chase them. (In Spooky Month she ran pretty fast to protect Skid & Pump from that possessed doll, if I remember correctly) And they are singing as they're running.

this has no right being as well done as it is. the deathmatch motif bf started singing as daddy dearest was shown was an incredible touch, and the attention to detail with picos shots getting slower as he either runs out of bullets or realizes the futility of it all is very nice. the composition is just.. outstanding. very good representation of how serious this situation is for the characters while also making this song go incredibly hard. amazing work, takeover team.

no offense , i dont think pico is running out of bullets or smthg i think he is getting weaker and weaker at the point he cant even shoot with his own gun and we can see that after that he falls to his knees barely standing , this could mean he cant take it and he is getting fucked by the corruption . @@j.kheianmarcial5158 We don't really know how far they got but this is just my opinion on it: They're on foot and nene has Skid by the hand witch does make a huge difference in speed and mobility. In the beginning I think he waits until they actually get up and start leaving then he does the talking from the start of the video THEN gets up to face boyfriend I don't think he would really wait that long cuz he wants to buy as much time as possible and the fact that he himself doesn't have much time left. Anyways I think they would still be able to hear the gunshots even if they got pretty far they should still be able to barely hear the shots.
I like how in this, Pico is considered a rival. Pico is a such a big threat to the corruption that a whole group of corrupted people needed to be there. He was the first line of defense against the corruption.

Ruv, tabi and whitty on the images before pico goes beserk could foreshadow they will be fought in corruption takeover. Overall i think besides skid and pump everyone will put a hell of a fight

In contrast to Unable, where Pico genuinely posed a threat to the corruption, here Pico doesn’t stand a chance. Pico’s so weak that he can’t even move the bar anymore. The only thing that’s keeping Pico going is the hope that if he buys enough time, then maybe Skid and Nene will get to safety. Corrupted BF’s vocals, especially at 2:39 gives off the vibe that this isn’t actually a serious battle anymore- this is simply just a prolonged defeat. As I said in my last comment, Pico is a glass cannon, and the Corruption has succeeded in breaking him apart.
I actually think he's choosing to not move the bar. He could if he wanted to, but by this point he figured that he wouldn't be able to uncorrupt Boyfriend, so has resorted to using all his remaining energy on killing him

As much as I love the original Corruption and somewhat dislike remakes of it, this is incredible. This one actually gives the characters feelings and emotion, rather than it just being the regular characters being reskinned, slightly different animations, and remixed music. This is almost perfect!

They could've done alot better imo.
A detail to note is that from the first day I advanced the clock of the letter or of corruption, implying that time was running out and now that the peak time is over, the clock arrived at 12 (it is sad to think that all this time one way or another we knew he was going to lose)
The best fnf mod by far so far, in theory it now follows Skid and Pump, but now that I've seen that Whitty and Tabi are canon, and also Ruv in theory sarvente is too, So the question remains whether those characters from those mods will also be part of this masterpiece called Corruption Takeover

I love the fact that here monster is very smart and played it safe, corrupting more people and setting traps for possible survivors before attacking the mall instead of attacking with no corrupted minions/traps and hoping for the best.

This is the perfect end to Pico’s week, with him trying to save Nene and Skid. And that “final attack” with the insane bullets was the cherry on top, this is one of the best corruption mods out there!
It's amazing that you do such impressive work in such a short time, for me this is the best corruption mod there is! I look forward to the premiere
I'mma write my thoughts here. Honestly, i don't know why everyone doesn't feel like the Song fits, maybe it's Taste but they way it sounds, sounds like a Final Encounter before Pico's Fate is reached, he's not Fighting back, but he's simply buying time for Nene and Skid. Azuri did a good job on this Song, it's abosutely Fire. Cloudy made the Charting seem actually fun, which is really nice. Everyone on this Day did their Parts and made it worth it, i hope to see more, Good Job Team and take breaks if needed.
This is why pico is the example of a real one. He gave his life up to save some kid and his friend. Besides that this takeover mod has been amazing so far. Take your time on it
You can feel and see the desperation of Pico in all the song, specially at the end when he shots all the bullets that he have in his guns as a final strike before being defeated.
this is by far one of the most storytelling mods i have ever seen right next to the blueballs incident hopefully theres a good ending to it and everybody doesnt get corrupted
Ok the corruption here seems WAY stronger, at no point does Pico even get the slightest uncorrupted, and the amount of people already corrupted is just plain scary. Even the likes of Tabi and Whitty have to team up to even have a chance.
Edit: Pico does get a bit uncorrupted during unable if you look closely well he is kind of grabbing his head, its a little hard to tell

I love the flashbacks towards the end. It just shows the efficiency of the corruption and it’s severity. It adds more to the corruption than prior. Instead of seeing all the main characters getting picked off 1 by 1, the flashbacks show all of it is happening nigh at once. Also seeing Tabi andd Whitty work together surrounded by corruption makes it feel like a war albeit pretty one-sided. Whatever feeling you attempted to convey from this, i’m pretty sure you have.
Something I just want to point out: the people surrounding pico and bf are the rest of the cast from Pico's school, and Hanzo (the one hanging upside down) is the only member of the cast other than Cassandra to canonically die (there is an option to spare alucard and cyclops) and in his death he had his head shot clean off. Meaning there's a good chance one of the corrupted characters went BACK to the school to retrieve Hanzo's head, corrupt it, and hang it from the sign.

This is a masterpiece 10/10 I love how pico slows down shooting bit by bit during his bullet barrage towards corrupted BF and Im pretty sure we got to see BF's POV before he got fully corrupted with the lemon demon's foot and mic and corrupted GF plus seeing daddy dearest's concerned face

One thing I just noticed is that unlike Loaded and Unable, there is no combo counter or even the "Sick!" messages in the whole song. Really sells the idea that this isn't a final boss, or even a fight for that matter. It's basically a playable cutscene with only one possible outcome: Pico falling to the corruption with his best shot (no pun intended) being to buy some time for Nene, Skid and whoever's left.
This is without a doubt, THE BEST TAKE on the corruption mod by far! Can't wait for this to release in the future!
Okay so I have only one thing to say. This is amazing. The song is great the background, all the stuff. I love near the end where it flashes to other people in the midst of the corruption trying their best to fight it really reminding you that this is an apocalypse with chaos happening everywhere at the same time. Also I love the barrage of bullets at the end and that animation is amazing! Great job to you Pie and the whole team, this is beautiful and take as long a break as you need. I can’t imagine how hard it was to get this out in only a few weeks with such great quality
I like Pico's heavy breathing at the end, it gives Pico and the audience time to breath after the final fight,
my favorite part about 1:41 is that he sounds like he's saying "the only thing that is on my mind", and since he's doing all of this to protect nene and skid, it's pretty sweet.
That was absolutely FIRE- The lighting and the shadowing was a really nice touch and I like how I could hear the anger and struggle in Pico's voice at some parts, that was cool as hecc. Really great stuff! I also loved seeing the corrupted cameos of some familiar faces. I'm excited to see where the retold story will go. I think the whole team did an amazing job! :D
I really hope that opening to Deathmatch becomes a running leitmotif for the corruption that would be really cool. I wonder about those cameos by Whitty, Tabi, and Ruv. Were they just cameos or hints at the future, either way you and your team do amazing work and I already love this series thank you so much for all your hard work.

i like when he says he is gonna buy time by shooting not for him to take care of the corruption but to give nene and skid more time to run away we can see that pico , at the mid of the song , gets visions seeing all the others getting cornered in the case of tabi and whitty. When he goes berserk we cant definitly understand by the speed of him shooting the bullets , that he is getting weaker and weaker at the point he cant even shoot nor fight , i can prove that by him falling down to his knees at the end truly telling he is exhausted. I also like the detail of him not pushing the bar anymore due to his weakness. we all already know pico is a tough opponent and the only thing that kept him from resisting is looking at all his friends being corrupted and also him trying to last long enough protecting nene and skid. Its a good story and a sad ending for pico. But this time , boyfriend was smarter and overpowered him.

One thing i think of every time i watch any corruption songs (especially ones by you) is actually how sad they are. The song has a kind of happy tune in it, but its anything but. Out of all of the characters i really feel for is DD. Being the only one not corrupted is a really scary thought. I would love to see more of him. Really amazing work, and i cant wait to see more. Take a nice break!
We all know how this will end, but seeing Pico put everything into stalling as long as he could for his friends is what you love to see.
The corrupted Pico's School characters in the BG are all fantastic too, showing up just to see Pico fail.

this is truly a masterpiece, the amount of unnecessary effort just to initiate every little detail is significant really adds to the atmosphere you try to put on.
Pico’s plan was never to win the fight or go out in a blaze of glory. He needed to buy as much time for Nene and Skid to escape as far away as possible. Guess what? He did just that, until the last round of bullet came firing and even attracted more corrupted to him and less to Nene and Skid. It don’t seem like it, but Pico won that battle.
I Like How At The End Of The Song, Pico Slowly Stops Shooting. This Makes Me Think Personally That He Was Getting Weaker And It Was Getting Harder For Him To Pull The Trigger.
Finally, a corruption mod where pico went down like a hero.
The OG of Song 3 Week 1 or 2 was great but this is amazing. You can definitely tell that Pico was desperate to end it all near the end when he was thinking of what was happening to everyone. Maybe me wonder if the corruption would spread to every FNF mod character.

honestly i was suprised how well the song was, and just how everything fit together perfectly the cutscenes didn't seem out of place the ending wasn't just unfair because unfairness and it showed a lot of struggle

The beauty and emotion in Pico as he's trying to save Nene some time to run and get away by shooting
The most noticeable plus of this mod is the emotions. The character's expressions, the music, dialogs. Like the second song in this week: when the Boyfriend gets slightly uncorrupted the music fills with hope. Even in the deadmatch when DD gets tired, you can see that exhaustion on his face, the sadness.

I may have missed the premiere, but you perfectly captured what the corruption is supposed to be, or at least, in my mind.
It's hopelessness. That same hopelessness, that feeling that always comes. Nothing you do with help anyone nor bring hope, and Pico did his best to buy time. All he had was bullets.

This is gonna be the best!! As this continues Pico knew he was gonna loose but it wasn't for him to fight back or for was him to buy enough time for Nene and skid to escape I love how it showed other mods and characters being in the same situation which is terrifying just how many did they get in the span of the Christmas fight! I love how daddy dearest just..saw his daughter as that! I love how Cassandra and the others were there watching this or well the corrupted versions of them Pico empty his gun just to buy enough time to make sure they can escape..and why it's happening? I don't know either guys monster just wants to cause chaos and make the world in his image possibly? I'm excited to see how much further this mod will go you guys deserve that 1 to 2 week rest!

really liked that part with guitar and the pictures showing the whole situation. although, i think pico shooting at everyone like in unloaded instead of just shooting bf would make a bit of sense. still love it

Damn, its over for Pico. You can tell he is out of breath after shooting 100 notes or more at corrupted Bf which was completely dodged. He knows that the corruption is strong so he didn’t just gave up so easily, he continued fighting so Nene and Skid can go as far away as possible from the corruption. And after when he started to breath heavily, he realizes at that moment he is already done for even tho he hasn’t been fully corrupted yet. He went down as a hero, but his defeat was not in vain, he bought Nene and Skid some time to flee. After the screen going black, we all know what happens to Pico next..
The fact that pico still tried to shoot BF even though he knows hes done for makes the chad Pico thing more understandable

I think during the mall there will be GF vs DD just like we see on the transition at 3:00 and since we know that DD has the ability to reverse the corruption inflicted on himself he will be able to save GF since BF is taking Pico and BF probably think that DD was a less danger than Pico which is gonna be a mistake for BF to let his minion and GF against him (Take note that in Deathmatch DD was literally 1v5 and lost it because he started to losing himself when MM appeared)
The part about this is that it kind of has a happy mood to it meaning that it makes it feel that pico can finally rest because he let skid and nene run far away so his job is done and he can finally get corrupted
The fact that tabi, whitty and ruv are actually canon in this story is amazing, hope they get a chance to fight.

I loved everything. The song, the visuals, the dialogue. Everything was just incredibly well made.
That segment at the end. Uffff man was it painful to watch. Pico realizing that he can't do anything to save his friends and that the world is falling apart was... devastating. You could truly see how he was out of hope, out of breath, not even with enough energy to keep singing, so he goes all out in a bullet frenzy, just to end up giving up at the end.
It was beautiful.
And the best part is that you and your team managed to achieve all those things, convey all those emotions, in just a 4 minute video. That's yet again, incredible.
I'm definitely excited to see what's coming next in this mod after this and I'm definitely sticking out till the end.

A cool detail I noticed is that how in Day 1 of this week the clock on the Corruption Takeover didn't tick, for Day 2 it ticked twice, and for this day the clock reversed back to the tick of Day 1.
I really like how the clock on the logo is representing the Day numbers, for Day 1 it didn't tick at all because it was Day, for Day 2 it ticked twice because it was Day 2, when Day 3 ended the clock reversed because Pico was fully corrupted, and the clock is waiting to tick again for the next week. It's a really neat detail, kudos to the team!
JESUS CHRIST PIE!!! u and the team out did themselves especially at 3:12 and the little memories before that. I also have a feeling that with the dialogue we'll be getting a Nene week before skid and pump? idk man but I rlly like this more story driven take on corruption, keep up the good work 👏👏
what I really like at pico's frantic shooting at the end is how the instrumental keeps repeating itself, showing that pico is desperate on trying to shoot and not caring about singing. it also sounds faster and somewhat more high pitched after he slows down, showing how desperate he is to kill bf.
overall very cool mod, can't wait to see what happens with nene and skid 👍
