19000 Tulips at Crystal Hermitage Garden Nevada City California

My friend and I took a day trip to Nevada City, CA to check out the Crystal Hermitage Garden this spring. The garden folks planted 19000 tulips for the 2023 season and it was spectacular! When we went (April 26, 2023) the tulips were in full bloom and the cherry blossom trees were also blooming along with the camellias, dogwood, and many other flowers. However, we were just a tad early for the wisteria which was a little disappointing for me. This year due to the extended cool spring days, the season lasted about 6 weeks I think. I believe when it gets hotter early in the year the season is much shorter. Be sure to check out their website or social media if you are planning a trip to see what the blossoms are looking like.
