    Thank you. Have this same kit. My harness is a bit different from offroadalliance....and now watching your DiY I'm totally fine with the hookup. Heck... this is better than their DiY video.

      You are welcome! Honestly, part of the reason I made this video is because I felt theirs was lacking in a full and clear explanation. I watched it a few times.

    Thank you for the in depth video explaining every step along the way. Keep those Raptor videos coming!

    I made my own harness and used a blocking did on the reverse light power wire so when I turn them on with the upfitter switch the reverse lights in the taillight housing don’t come on … was just something I didn’t like about every premade harness

      Thanks! I really like these lights. So much more lighting for the back of the truck when I get to a camp site.

      I wanna say Offroad Alliance but I'm not sure anymore. I know there are several companies makeing them these days. Sorry for taking so long!

    Nice Video, are you experiencing any issues later on? I did this same exact install on my '19 raptor, worked great at first. Now when I go into reverse the additional lights do not turn on and I also notice my Blind Spot Assist is not as constant, a temporary solution I have found is unplug then re-plug my driver side taillight, after doing that it works great again, but then sooner or later same issue. I have also checked for DTCs haven't found any codes stored for this. Any thoughts? I'm considering just keeping the s2 lights plug into the upfitter switches and removing the vampire clip to hopefully end this issue as a last resort.

      Mine have worked great since install and my Blind Spot Assist has worked perfectly ever since. Having it run just off the up fitter switch seems like a decent solution. I would try and see if the problem is isolated to the Blind Spot Assist. You might have a faulty sensor.

    If i did just the off road alliance harness and grounded it at the aux switch and ignored the break light connection would that be the best way to get it to only work with the switch? That would be my preference.

    • @GavinMalm
      @GavinMalm  Před 2 lety

      Yes that would be the easiest way to have it run just from the AUX switch.

    hi there. Your s2 sports, what beam pattern are? spot, wide cornering or driving combo...?

    • @GavinMalm
      @GavinMalm  Před 2 lety

      They have the wide driving beam pattern. They throw light wide enough to see what's around you and far enough to light up the entire area.

    too low to be effective and amber/ yellow is what is overwhelmingly preferred as a chase light.

      Theres were never intended to be chase lights.
