  • Here's the scene in the North Okanagan region of BC right now, as a massive wildfire, drought, and heat wave combine. We have had smoke for over a month without a break, embers falling from the sky, and looming evacuations.

Gawd that looks awful. Stay safe - if you have the water pressure, put some sprinklers up on your roof.
We're out in Montana and have had the smoke hanging over us for weeks, but so far no embers or ash at our place, even from 'local' fires.

Look what they are doing in Turkey & Greece, the residence are fighting off the flames with shovels, buckets of water and tree branches. In Greenville everyone evacuated and the whole town burned to a cinder. If that happened to me I always have 1300 gallons of water in polytanks, evacuate? I have no where to take all my cats.

Get the hose ready to guard your home.
Fill the 5 gallon buckets and the tub if you have 'em.
When I was 6 the house I lived in burned to the ground, no fun there.
At least it was not winter then, and there was no dreading as you carry.
Dig a hole to bury valuables you wish not to lose in possible mayhem.

      All good suggestions bro.
We are being told that all of those things are irresponsible and possible harmful to the state's efforts. But there are people around town already saying they don't intend to flee for no good reason. If they have to flee an actual fire, okay maybe that makes sense. But don't just leave the town to looters and let it slowly burn. I don't trust the official narrative on this, already. It's already being set up like a lot of false flags we've seen in the past, with the media response and such. And it's heavily politicized. Trudeau just called a snap election and the big issue is global warming. He intends to consolidate power for the Liberals (globalist elite technocrats). I feel slightly abused here.

We will get right on that! A most excellent idea.
