I used MS paint to invert the colors and add pictures from the Sin City comic to certain parts of the video to create a lightning effect. Please note that I did not make this song.
I remember having the Sin City DVD menu playing this over and over.

Although I first heard this in Transporter 2, went to look it up in here. Then I just had to see the movie. Nice piece of work, both the song and the movie.
Sin City was the Pulp Fiction of the 2000s, great cast great dialogue great characters great visuals, three plot lines with three different protagonists..oh and great music
The cast for SC was even bigger. Like 3x the size in terms of star power. I'm not saying it's better (it's not) and I don't even think it's the proper comparison by decade... But it is great.
I wouldn't compare those 2 movies, the only thing they really have in common is Bruce Willis.
And Quentin Tarantino was involved with both; in SC, he directed the scene where Bruce Willis drives Benicio Del Toro to the tar pits.

The vocals are great but I think they're a bit too loud in the mix. A remaster slightly lowered vocals would be great because he is a great singer

I remember when I first heard this song, I was right smack in the middle of reading The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, and thinking that if they ever made a film series based on all 7 books, that this song would be perfect for a trailer. Like the teaser trailer for The Lord of the Rings films that premiered Christmas 2000 that showed scenes and shots from all 3 films, except this trailer would feature scenes from all 7 (completed) films.
While many see this as Sin City, I came here from Transporter 2. And this was so hard to find.

The instrumental alone is fantastic. I can't believe i've never listened to it. I heard the song with the vocals first though, so i guess I think i'm always gonna be used to it.
This song and that trailer were all it took to sell me on Sin City.

Sounds even better without the vocals. I don't mind the vocals so much, but we really get the flesh and blood of the melody here in this instrumental track. I just wish they would use this in more films. It's a song that would make any fight scene epic.
