I've loved James Taylor's music and this song for quite a long time. I put together this gentle acoustic arrangement on my Cordoba C7. I left my window open to capture the passing car sounds, the wind and singing birds. The sun kept disappearing behind passing clouds, resulting in the changing light through the window. I recorded this through an Audio Technica Mid-Side microphone into a Zoom L12 mixing board. Very light mixing in Studio One.

That was the best rendition/cover of fire and rain I think I’ve ever heard. Hadn’t heard you before so I thought it was just a very pretty acoustic guitar version. When you added your voice in it was just beautiful. Your guitar work and voice are a great match, and I thoroughly enjoyed listening.
