Hey everyone, hope you enjoy todays animation, I had a bit of fun working on this one and be sure to check out CreepyPastaJr's original audio in the description.

i like how the animation accurately depicts everything that goes on in the story like how when the storyteller is talking about how he fell into the pool you matched the description to a "T". I wish to see more of these animations in the future and I will watch career with great interest.

sfm has a limited amount of maps on the workshop and if you try you can get gmod maps into it but if you want it to be super accurate you need to make a custom map just for the video which is kind of hard if you don't know how to map correctly.

When animals in a natural habitat like a Forest all go silent at once, this is typically a red flag-- a sign that a predatory creature large enough for them to worry about is around. If you are ever out and about in the woods and all sounds around you stop? Be on high alert. In my area, it could mean that a wildcat or bear is prowling the location.

@@UlulvarCape It would only tell you something else is hunting in the area. Not where it is, or more importantly what it's hunting. Your best bet for hunting in this situation is to be quiet as well-- listen for what else is hunting in the area without drawing attention to yourself. Hopefully you'll see it before it sees you, but it's not a grantee. Please stay safe out there.

House can definitely use heavy reinforcement for security measures. Barred Windows from metal reinforced doors or a chain link fence for some breathing room from the forest. And from what the comments imply they were in dogmen territory. A large cryptid canine-like and a predator. Definitely something that would cause the surrounding area to go silent.
Silence in nature is never a good sign, it’s generally a sign of a large predator presence in the area.
I’ve heard of those things. Usually they live in packs and hunt whatever they can.

The model used for this video may have been a werewolf, but IMHO the description given in the actual story of it being totally hairless with possibly blue-colored skin makes it sound more similar to a Lovecraftian Ghoul (which are often described as being vaguely canine in appearance but, luckily for the narrator & his friends, *only* eat the flesh of the dead & dying).
in my headcanon, that monster is a craze, but somehow a well-planned fursuiter.

This is pretty sweet! The animations was actually really good, including the lighting, and the little details light the particles coming off the fireplace. Also the walking animations were really nice, a change of pace from those weird walking animations from older creepypastas.
Well the particles coming from the fireplace probably come with the Source Engine, but yeah, I see what you mean.
The only problem I have is I only think of the characters as scout, demoman, sniper, and soldier.
Even when the monster ate the tree at 3:01!

This actually makes werewolves scary holyshit. Like that's such a monsterous description of it, makes it genuinely feel like a creature sent to kill
I like how this creepypasta was pretty nice and simple, capitalizing on the fears on Houses that are next to large wooded areas
While i think these type of stories are mixed in quality, it does at times make the story feel real and realistic without being too cliche heavy
I also like how the werewolves (which i assume is what the creature is) aren't hostile or have shown to be agressive towards anybody, just curious like actual wolves
The fear all comes from the fact how there can be ANYTHING in those woods, and being afraid of the unknown, similar how we're afraid of the ocean because of how unknown it is as well
Imo, this is a solid and very good creepypasta

A cool summer morning in early June, is when the legend began, at a nameless logging camp in Wexford County, where the Manistee River ran.
Eleven lumberjacks near the Garland swamp found an animal they thought was a dog. In a playful mood they chased it around till it ran inside a hollow log. A logger named Johnson grabbed him a stick and poked around inside. Then the thing let out an unearthly scream and came out and stood upright.

As for his "odd quirk" of not being able to sleep quickly in a new location, that's actually very common. Heck, every year so far when I've moved into my college dorm I was wide awake for the entire first day/night I moved in

I've heard about this: Feng shui warns against putting your bed in front of a window because of the lack of safety and support. It states that it is not relaxing or comfortable because you're not grounded by a wall, and you're more vulnerable to danger through the window.

This story i literaly about 4-5 people renting a house in the middle of the woods camping, and at night countering wearwolf at night.
I love the creativeness here and i love the smooth animation at where the video almost ends
This reminds me of another creepy pasta I read years ago but I don’t remember the title
The summary is that a group of friends go to a lake house and the main character mentions seeing something in the middle of the lake but doesn’t think much of it. Then each night weird things happen to everyone as they try to sleep.
One person sees a humanoid figure in the tree line from their bedroom window. Another hears whispering and someone else has the general feeling of being watched. And the thing in the lake seems to move closer to the house each time the main character sees it.
By the last night everyone is pretty creeped out and they decide to all sleep in the same room together. In the middle of the night the main character is awaken by one of their friends. They’re all staring at the window. At first the MC sees nothing but then notices from the corner of the window that there’s the face of what appears to be a very thin woman with long hair and black sunken eyes looking at them. And the window she’s at is high from the ground that it should be impossible for the thing to be looking through the window.
Eventually she moves from the window and the friends stay up until the sun comes up and quickly leave in the morning.
Now it’s been awhile since I read it so the details are a little funny but it struck a cord with me and it seemed very similar to this one.

I've never been all too keen on visual horror media that focuses on the Hollywood cliché of jumpscares upon jumpscares, but if it's some downright scary-over-startling horror, I am down. And even if this project mostly throughout felt more like just an exciting story to tell instead of paranoia-inducing horror, the line regarding the footprints, the vocal tone in which the original reader left it off and the subtle and faint piano keys were able to give my imagination the slight heebie jeebies. It's short, packs a bit of punch, yet has some potential to easily even be extended into maybe a 30-minute video. Very well done in terms of the animation, I found the chopped up bits to be a unique way of telling past tense events.

I really like these videos where they’re about horror stories and they use the tf2 merc’s as the characters with good quality, I remember seeing ‘it has no face’ and thought you were the same guy who made that, anyways keep up the good work!
