I first heard Serguei Popov about 26 years ago when he came to Oklahoma to perform there. We had a chance to meet him at the Messianic congregation we were attending at the time. My daughter was four at the time and he told us that she reminded him of his daughter of about the same age. Nice memories. I found Elihana Elia here on U-Tube by way of other Messianic Jewish singers. I enjoy her music and enthusiasm. Seeing and hearing them both together with the Yisraeli National Anthem was unexpected and beautiful. This was my fourth time listening to the Anthem since Shabbat ended today and I stood each time. I stood to give honor to Eretz Yisrael. I stood to give honor to the people of Yisrael. I stood to give honor to HaShem. And, I stood to give honor to those who can no longer stand. In my heart, this is my National Anthem. But I live in the U.S. so I can't have it as my National Anthem. I stand anyway.

I noticed how no matter who sings this anthem, it always sounds incredibly beautiful and emotional.
That's because it's in a minor key, unlike most anthems. You might also be sensing the meaning of the words- unlike many anthems, which are martial in nature, HaTikvah is a song of hope and peace.
That's because it's in the Minor Key, Jin Woo. Most National Anthems don't have such Sweet Melodies. I Personally Find 2 National Anthems to be Particularly Beautiful : Indian National Anthem and Israeli National Anthem.

Israeli anthem is really similar to my country Chinese one.We had the same suffering 7 decades ago.I am really fond of this anthem.Jewish gathering there land change desert to green land.Suffering taught them how to survive and have a better life.Respect from China!
