I'm surprised your'e not aggressive from the BB vs lj, like a check raise on the flop on that low board or semi-bluff the turn. Great video as always!
Think Jaman makes an over-simplification. It could be just cuz they’re card dead. ie days where as soon as I sit down get dealt AA, KK, AK, AQ, AJ,… open, 3-bet, c-bet,… miss everything and get called down w 2nd pair no kicker, or run down 2 pair. I think to myself I sat down w 4-5 calling stations/donks. But as sesh goes on, just playing solid not getting outta line poker, and from their pov thought my earlier raises were from “jackal” type fish.

It's funny I did a Veronica and friends stream once and literally my main reason was so the kids would always have at least one video of me playing. Like this vlog it was card dead city at stones that night, but it's there.

I feel your pain, that has been my last 5 sessions. Just not getting a normal distro of cards for an average human... case in point. last session. no KK, no QQ, no JJ, no 1010, no 99, no 88, no 77.. (this is over 8 hours) I did get AA 2 times. Cracked both times.. and no, I didn't slow play at all. Variance is kicking my ass.
That’s literally my card distribution 80% of my sessions, minus getting AA, throw in never making more then 1 pair, is that not normal?

We had similar nights. My last session I was card dead the entire time. Sadly the card room I play at closes at 3:30 am. I kid you not around 3 am I got hot and won several hands in a row. I ended up leaving down $17 for the session.

Recreational players, which you said the game was full of, will raise sometimes in that spot you folded KJ, with a worse K. They’ll overplay a hand like K10 in that spot thinking they have the best hand.

@@patrickclark7714 great question. Mostly a more splashy game although a more passive game is much easier to book a "modest win" in. A splashy game means bigger wins and bigger losses and sometimes massive blows to your confidence.
