The spear only pins to uphill cliffs, other way around they are just pushed off the cliff.
ok but those base "cliffs" are kinda confusing, they look more like walls

When Mars came out Bulldog tested it and in about 30 seconds he figured out that the cliff downwards doesn't stun targets. The only bs one here was the Ursa part, where the game didnt know what to do with him since he was at those tight spots where nothing is clear to the code. The ult has a delay to capture enemies, the lion got out nicely because of it.

Apparently the base hg only has visual walls that mechanically function just like, say, pushing someone from hg down into the river. That's what happened. If you put a ward on the base hg and there are no trees blocking vision from the lg it will also provide vision of the lg through the "wall". Also Mars' wall has a formation delay, just like Disruptor's Kinetic Field.

@@zorken123 It only impales against cliffs leading to high ground. If you spear them into a cliff leading to low ground, it doesn't impale. I understand that there is a "wall" there, but it isn't considered one because you can have vision of the area behind the wall when standing on HG.

Mars spears stun only works from the lower ground to the cliff of the high ground. Not the other way around, it have been like this since the beginning of Mars update. If you are in the edge of arena, you can walk away just like that. The only bug happened is when you spear Ursa to highground and pop, Ursa got out of arena

the second part of this video (first game in which he played Mars) is especially great in terms of dramatic structure and climax because personally, I had no idea if the main point was that Mars is too OP or that Mars' mechanics are broken, until I saw the ending

Except for the spears going through wall, I don't think others were bug. The point where ursa was pushed in Arena Of Blood was inside Dire base wall where a unit cannot be so he was pushed to nearest acceptable position. And when lion went out of arena, it was still spawning at that time, there's a bit of delay
I don’t want to say this but below the ancient bracket, noob teams aren’t really a problem (unless of course it’s like a 4 man throw) if you truly feel you deserve to be above said bracket. It gets harder to 1v5 in legend bracket but with the right hero choice it is very doable.
Sad story behind the last part is that monkey king + mars combo is a auto win. But yeah i feel ya bro. That’s why i always play the anti mage solo campaign if i have the chance and the draft allows it :D

I had a pudge singlehandedly gave them the game because he felt entitled that he should have the tome when my pos 1 carry was so underfarmed and underleveled because he was talking last hits... might I remind that he is a PUDGE, a roaming one at that.. he changed lanes to trilane gank but noooo it's to take farm and split levels even more.
he fed and trashedtalked by jugg because he died ONCE and lost tower because he was soooo underleveled and farmed and this pudge had 0 wards and kept saying "blind map" when he could've easily bought one. Raged when i bought pos 1 the tome because it was "his" he never called for the tome, he wasn't underleveled nor underfarmed, the tome was sitting there unbought for minutes..
Highground walls are just cosmetic walls, so basically you did push them downhill and off a cliff.

You would have won that mars game if you actually focused tinker instead of letting him get level 20 while you only have a blink dagger 22 minutes in the game. You chose to focus lion with your ulti and ended up missing it anyway, instead of going to help your team focus tinker.
