Hailey basically confirmed what I had suspected which was she didn't know how to deal with that level of media attention when she married Justin so she became defensive (hence the mean girl narrative). If you can't deal with the media the media will deal with you essentially because people misconstrue and paint their own pictures. She didn't have the training and experience the likes of Selena have over the media. I feel sad for her.
