Undeniably the most impressive cast I’ve ever seen for a crowdfunded animated program. It’s amazing that these performers are also on board because of how much they love the books and their interest in seeing it be adapted for the screen, even if they likely won’t be paid much for their involvement. I’m especially astounded that they got Kevin McNally for the part of Podo and Jodi Benson for the role of Nia. Both of those performers starred in some of my favorite Disney projects, and when I found out here that they were gonna be playing these characters, everything about their castings immediately clicked in my head! Also, I had no idea Christopher Robin Miller was the guy who sang the shanty for a previous Wingfeather commercial or that he’d actually win a role for this show, but I’m so happy that he got the chance. Considering the fact that he previously starred as Adam Smith in the third episode of “The Tuttle Twins”, I hope Angel Studios will consider having him as a frequent collaborator.
The ridgerunner of my nightmares has an amazing, papery, Zouzab-y voice! My reaction was something between a "whoa" and a squeal. Then Oskar! This is definitely the guy who narrated The Prince of Yorsha Doon! When Griffin Faulkner laughed before before he started speaking as Tink, I was screaming inside. When he actually spoke as Tink I literally screamed. When Romy Fay answered to Andrew Peterson, me and my brother went "WHOA". When Mr. McNalley said "A pleasure to be here" you can probably guess what I felt. Podo is of course my favorite character so AAA
I just rewatched the episodes and took a look at the credits, pausing every second, and I just realized the VA of Zouzab also did Buzzard Willie as well as Shaggy the proprietor of Shaggy's Tavern!
Props to you guys. I always get a lil nervous seeing a story I cherish be adapted for the screen but so far all my expectations have been f a r exceeded. Spot-on casting! I'm so excited for the show's release!
Ahhhh, I love it I love it I love it!! Everyone is SO well-cast, and seeing Jodi Benson after all I know her for is The Little Mermaid from like 33 years ago is SUPER cool! I'm so freakin' excited for this show to come out!!!!!!!
I know that it’s incredibly early, but…for quite a while, there were some performers I particularly envisioned for certain parts in books 2 & 3. If Peterson and the production team will allow it, I’d love to privately give the recommendations.
I cannot wait! One comment I would make is on the animation; I like the backgrounds, but they don't meld well with the characters and end up looking flat.

Henry Ian Cusick and Alkaio Thiele are my favorites! Mainly because they did such an amazing job playing my two favorite characters!! 😄
Alkaio Thiele because Janner is my favorite character and he did such a good job voicing him!
