Honestly, the quality on this channel has only been going up. Good stuff.
It will continue to go up if he continue these kind of videos. I like it
You forgot about the terrain quality. it has to be at the max in order to model the terrain better and preventing you of putting a shot in the ground, even though you could see the enemy tank perfectly
cant wait to get 60% win rate now
Nope, 60% winrate is incredibly difficult... but if you didn't know any of the tricks he showed you yet, it might help you raise your winrate by ~1%...
SweetAlex 274 Gaming if you've got premium account and do good and not play as polish morons do, it's not that difficult
why are you talking bad about polish u know that top players in wot are polish right best player in game is pl
played 12k games and have 57% winrate and still picked a few things up, damn
21k games and 61% winrate, and playing since 2012. Still learned some stuff.
lol tbh ur win rate shouldn't change how much u learnt :P
only amount of games should
7:19 that T92 showed up from nowhere scared the shit out of me lel
CT Ranger look to the timer of WOT it Will be change because hè die a cut there
As a returning player I found this absolutely brilliant.
You definitely need a playlist like this, talking about maps, keypoints, tank tactics.
Like the Strv 74, it's not obvious at first but I my mind it has only one proper playstyle that works with it, breakdown stuff like that and the like.
Gr8 channel, just recenttly subbed and I love it already.
Thanks for doing this QB. This series is going to be a great help to many of us. I certainly appreciate (and need) it. There's so much to lean when you start it's difficult to work out what helps and what makes things worse. I've been playing a while (still suck ;) but learnt more watching you explain the settings than I have the entire time I've been playing. Look forward to the next installments.
Took 772 videos to finally get this. But it was worth it.
I'm only 3.5 minutes into this video, and I'm just blown away. I have so much going on in my life that I don't have time to delve so deeply into these aspects. I'm an avid watcher of your replays and tank reviews, as a way to learn and improve my battle performance. I don't always play WoT, but when I do, I try to #TankBetter. Thanks so much QuickyBaby!
I've been playing tanks for 6 years now and I actually learned a lot in this video. I'm excited for this new series BB keep up the work. I love you and your channel.
I really think you should cover fail lanes in one of these videos. Maybe with your amount of subs you can teach new players not to go places like Lakeville valley, north on paris or "medium" flank on westfield.
I've had some really fun games pushing Lakeville Valley in my T29... you just need the right tank for the job and not too much arty.
The 'medium' flank on Westfield can also be useful when done right. You see QB going there in a number of his videos. North on Paris is pretty much the only place I can go when I end up on the map with my Scorpion, the little bugger just can't do the city fighting thing at all.
CRITICAL NOVA You are right, sorry for a brainfart. Corrected. Was kinda stuck between "make newbies learn" and "teach newbies to"
jigz 84 Thing is - you can't teach new player "how to wot" in 4 videos. You can't cover all the useful positions - but you can point out useless ones and tell people to avoid them.
Andrzej Bigos
Frankly... you could make a 20 minute video PER MAP if you tried to explain all the intricacies...
where to go in light/medium/heavy/TD/SPG for maximum effect, where to avoid if you have bad gun depression, where you can go hull-down or where you're arty safe, what routes not to go when you're in a slow fat heavy because the enemy will inevitably shoot you up, ...
Very well done QB. Even for a vet in game I found this profoundly informative. I'll try the horizontal stabilization for sure.
Denzell Rodriguez you call yourself a vet but you don't know about the stabilization
This was very useful! I started playing World of Tanks few months ago and I have done some research about settings but this one really helped a lot more than the rest of them!
Really enjoyed this quick tutorial: clean and concise with great in game demonstrations. I am an old veteran WoT player who just recently got back into playing (the last time I played the french line was just introduced!). I am feeling a bit overwhelmed at the wealth of new tanks in game. Perhaps a quick and general overview of the tank lines (how they typically play, shared weak areas, etc.) and maybe even a general map change guide would be awesome! There have been so many changes over these past couple years and it's a chore to take the time to surf through patch change videos and notes. If made, those videos would be a wonderful addition to this series!
quickybaby. you didnt tell players to hit the + key and increase their minimap size. the default size is too small for it to be useful.
Fdsffsdf Dfsfdsf My stats are bad enough, but it's because I generally don't use the minimap, not that I can't use it.
This video is very helpful to new players like me. Thank you for making it.
Good start for the series. On topic and well-explained. Waiting for the next step. Cheers!
Really appreciate you taking on this tank better series. I've been playing for a couple of years casually and I picked up some new tips from this vid ;) Long-time fan of yours QB!
7:15 A wild T92 HMC appeared!
Been playing since beta, and I'm curious, what patch did that horizontal stabilizer option got implemented? Never knew that such an immensely helpful option was there
@@QuickyBabyTV what does the (!) Icon on the down left side by the tank mean when it turns on?
gj QB, with this series you realy put your big influence on the community to brilliant use. keep it up
Love it, looking forward to the rest of the series. Thanks for the time & content!
2019 update friend :) we are looking for your videos !
OMFG you can choose your random battle settings!?! Well I feel very stupid.
Clean up the childish, vulgar, offensive language. You shame your parents.
Really man? he can swear if he wants, because he swears it doesn't mean he's childish. And possibly his parents don't care.
I think this is a great way to start the series, keep it up!
I knew a lot of those setting's tips, but i could learn a couple of them that will surely help me out on the battlefield...
I already love this series!!
really like the idea of the guide series you are in progress with atm :) keep up the great job
Good video!
When talking about encounter battles at about 1:28 in you say tier 6 when I'm sure you meant to say tier 4.
This is very helpful QB. Been playing for 2 years and have 1700 battles so far and I have always been going to your channel to improve my game play and learn the mechanics of the game.
Thanks for the tips, fella! Never took the time to look into this before and it's already helped a lot.
Hey Quickybaby what happened to the #TankBetter tutorials? Been subscribed for a while but wasn't a consistent WoT so I'm not caught up on much
I liked because this took him 10 hours to make.
thank you QB, it was ages I was waiting for something like this, so I'm really glad that you made it, thank you so much for all your efforts!
Thanks qb, I did not know about the horizontal stabilization and the 16x-25x settings tips. Excellent!
Hey all potato pc users heads up! 16 and 25 times zoom lowers your framerate ALOT. I have a good constant 45-90 fps on wot but when in 25x I went as low as 17 fps!!!
@Charles man, you actually made me realize it! I was playing murovanka and was playing su-100 and I zoomed in x25 and my frame rate went to 15
QB is playing in 4k? Damn son. Where'd you get that Titan X? :D
I got the same graphics card, but the fps looks capped on 120 it doesn't seem to go up, why is that?
+debbah Human eyes see motion picture quite good above 24 fps. 60 -70 fps is the best quality of most cinemas. Above 120?
Alpha Adhito
well, you can buy monitors with 144 Hz soooo.... This works :P And I can tell you, you CAN see difference :)
This was AWESOME!!! Glad you are doing this Quicky.. wish more would to things like this!!
as a player with 20k games i didnt expect to learn much from these guides or atleast i thought the information wouldn't be useful to me but i am thoroughly impressed by this first guide and have learnt things myself that i could never be bothered to look at before. Thanks QB this is awesome
could you redo/update this video for current release
Thanks alot Quicky i just started a few days ago and this really helps me out. Its kinda overwhelming with all the options.
For ages, I've been trying to figure out how to add in those spotting circles on the mini map and recently learned that I need to shoot behind two covers instead of just one., both I've learned from you. Now I feel good enough to get back in my covenanter, thank you.
I dont seem to have the Window (borderless) option in my client, anybody knows how to solve this?
try choosing full screen mode in your settings, that may give you the view you want.
Wild Goose Man I already Play in fullscreen, but want to be able to tab in and out without having a 2 sec delay :)
This is AWESOME! I really needed to watch this video, it has enlightened me to some game changing aspects of the settings tab. Thank you sooo much for making this vid, if you have more ideas for better game play/tactical performance please make another video on the subject.
thank you qb , i was just looking for optimal settings for the game this days ,and yours is the best
most important thing to do as newbie is to enable server aim :)
Server aim is what you're actually aiming at.
In World of Tanks, all calculations regarding hitting, spotting and penetration and such are done server-side. This has one huge advantage: Cheating is much more difficult than it would be if done client-side (such as in Counter-Strike where wall hacks and whatnot are common). Yes there exist aimbots in WoT (don't use them!), but even those can only aim at tanks your team has actually spotted because the server doesn't tell your computer about the location of anyone else (unlike other games where headshots through a wall are not unheard of in multiplayer).
Drawbacks include a bit extra input lag and sometimes where you're looking at and where the server thinks you're looking at can differ slightly. This is usually not relevant, but it can be sometimes when trying to hit a particularly fast scout tank.
Why does your game have the borderless window mode and not mine?
wow did they finaly make borderless window option? :O does it lower your fps or not?
QB, just rewatched and it was great the second time also. Looking forward to more of these as I'm a big noob. :) Thanks and keep up the great work
Thanks mate, I had a bit of a play with my settings, but used a few of your options, keep up the good work..
This settings guide was fantastic. Keep up the good work QuickyBaby!!!!!!!
QB, great video! I appreciate the breakdown of your settings, and why you have them as they are. Thanks!
I think QB forgot all of those YT'rs gave zero fucks when they played WOT...
Not at all, I watched all their videos and thought they were great for a variety of reasons. However I noticed that even experienced gamers, such as the aforementioned, all hit the brick wall that is starting World of Tanks .
wish we could do this on console....come on wargaming!
Great series QB, I am an experienced player in World of Tanks so it's nothing new for me but I really think it is going to help keep new players and enrich their experience. It's very nice of you giving time away to help someone. Thank you in the name of newbies :) Cheers and keep up the good work!
Been playing for a couple of years now and I've completely missed some of these options! Really nice video for even someone who is experienced in Wot; great video.
Loving the new series! Good stuff Quicky
Thanks QB! I had of idea of horizontal stabilizer or penetration indicator. Very useful video.
great job. keep up these videos. I already knew most of this stuff, but I learned a thing or two.
Excellent video, actually. Usually I don't take a lot from CZcams but this actually contained plenty I didn't already know.
Thanks, QB!
Probably your best video yet QB, well done!
Very helpful. I am looking forward to more in this series. Thank you.
Having only dipped into WoT every now and then and being totally overwhelmed with all those options, that video is immensly useful. Will download WoT again and give it another try. Looking forward to more of your tanking guides!
This has to be your best video so far and you have made a lot of great videos. Thank you. :D
good video, useful info. Look forward to the rest of the series. Best of luck and thanks.
Awesome vid man!! Can't wait for the others to come :)
Great video, been playing the game for years but still learned some new stuff! Epic!
I really appreciate your candor and wealth of good information. It helps a LOT. Well done, and CHEERS!
Fantastic video QB, I have played approximately 11K games and didn't even realise a few of the options existed or what they did.
Thanks for the video QuickyBaby! Great video I learned a lot and am so embarrassed that I didn't do this sooner and better!!!!!
I've got lots of these settings, but still learnt from this. Great vid, thanks QB!
Very good video, QB. Helped me out a bunch! Thanks
Thank you! I look forward to the rest of this series!
this was a fun video and a nice tutorial! looking foward for the next ones!! :D
played 20k games in mostly lights and mediums and never had any idea what horizontal stabilisation done. Doh! Just tried it out and made a huge difference, Thanks Quickybaby.
I think it will be a very helpful series. Thanks, QB.
Awesome video Quickybaby!!! Loved it and very educational! I'm positive it'll help many players, even experienced ones :)
Love to see more of these videos! As a fairly new player myself this information is really helpful! Could you maybe show a video on play styles? Ex: how to play in a KV-1 heavy or how to play on certain maps
So, this throughout the month tanking thing worked out really well, thanks QB, I learned quite a lot about playstyles in certain tanks, and what tank classes such as "support" tanks do, I can really tank better with this in-depth guide.
I hope to god that I don't need to put /sarcasm here, but for the sake of some, I will.
A great guide QB. Nicely done
Nice job QB! I've been playing for over a year and still learned a couple things :)
This was Super helpful, thank you, appreciate it a lot, love your videos, keep it up man!
VERY good, im waching it again, manny things i didnt knew! thx QB!
Great learning video. Thanks so much QuickyBaby.
Super useful thank you. Some of that is default now in 9.16, but lots was great to know.
thanks qb for reading my comment about the general setting its helping me to improve my skill...now I can improve my game play in wot....hope you have a gift or event its christmas n new year and advance to you your family merry christmas and happy new year.. :-)
I really appreciated this video... I've been on WoT Console for the past 4 years, and I'm trying (once again) to migrate to the PC version -- many thanks on the configuration tips!
Great Video thank you so much. I enjoy how you provide video samples with your explanation and for the most, the tips are very useful. Thank you.
very helpful QB. Looking forward to the next video. Thank you
Thank you QuickyBaby for the horizontal stabilization tip. This was the number one thing bugging me in World of Tanks
I think this might be my favorite series that you have done yet. These are the types of vids that can help me attain moderate Noob status.
For a new player like me, this series will be so much rewarding in the long run. thanks QB.
This is the series I have been waiting for :)
Just wanted to say thank you I have a friend just starting and I'm at that, stage of knowing everything and I expect people to know what I know and I can't teach it very effectively. like the way you should set up your heads up display and settings you've saved me a lot of trouble explaining this all I have to do now is give him this link well done :)
Quickybaby this really helped me! Thanks so much! :)
Even though I have been a UI attentive player for almost 30K battles, this guide still helped me tweak a couple of things. VERY nice QB - you are a true tanker's friend.
I love the way you seem to be showing us these during battles.
"Don't mind me I'm just explaining the render circle to my subs"
Seem to be test server battles so they don't matter stats wise I guess.
@@Casey_HZD what does the (!) Icon on the down left side by the tank mean?
@@francek3892 If you mean the shapes in brackets on each of the tank spots in the garage they tell you what type of tank it is, else you'll have to give me a timestamp for the video to show me the (!) you mention, it's been well over a yr since I played last.
