    Not declaring futility... but saw Dan Rather end his carrier reporting on an unarmed pregnant American woman protesting in Palestine. being run over by an IDF tank.
    This will only end when the responsible who stole, face sincere justice.
    Last stand for the indigenous, that is certain...

      Hamas is directly funded by Israel, and was created by Israel, it's even on Wikipedia.

    i followed you because of bitcoin content. and hear you have a great heart in you for the weak. that is great. we all do. but don't agree with your takes. history has always been strong rule over the weak. and always will be. "Rights are only for those among equals". isreal is stronger than gaza, so either all gaza people comply in peace. just small amount commit the terrist act, all will suffer because of it. you can only blame on: 1) gaza people not able to control hamas terrist group. 2)no military stronger than isreal. of course this is not fair for everyone in gaza, but fair in a abstract construct enforced among equals, it is not real among nations.

    Drutter, I've been a long-time fan of your voice, but I wish you would do something else to defend the innocent Gazans other than going to the Middle East. Your message of peacekeeping, although admirable, is an antiquated virtue in today's Canada. This country has become a facilitator for Nato conflict missions at the expense of Western prosperity. To abandon what you can control (the health and well-being of your family/community) to sacrifice your life for something you can't control (the ceaseless and well-funded strife) is little more than foolish, it's irresponsible.

      Sometimes doing the right thing isn't convenient or safe. All it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing. Thanks for your concern, but I didn't say I intend to sacrifice my life : )

      @drutter understood however as I implied with my first message, you can do something to assist with deescalation efforts besides injecting yourself into a region in which you have no connections or basic understanding of the common language. How did merely attending a music festival to "support diversity" serve foreign nationals and their lives?

    • @drutter
      @drutter  Před 9 měsíci

      @@ImperfectCitizen Speaking of people in that region that have no connection to it... that's essentially every person in the recently-created country we call Israel. A couple generations ago, that was Palestine.
      Not speaking the local languages is an issue, no doubt. It's something people and groups such as aid organizations have had to deal with for centuries. I don't think it's my biggest barrier.

    Seeing the terrible fate of Muslims in Gaza today brings tears to my eyes, Gaza will be freed from the oppression of oppressors, God willing.
