It was a wildly inventive, out-of-left-field sci fi movie that a lot of people just didn't understand at the time. One of Bruce Willis's best roles and one that he - like the movie - doesn't get nearly enough credit for.
Yeah totally and I remember an interview with Bruce Willis where he said he wanted to go into sci-fi genre of TV and movies and this was his transition to it. And I think it didn’t really happen cause he’d been type cast as a action hero due to the success of the first 3 diehard movies which I think is a bit sad really
One of the best flicks ever made.
I could watch this movie every week and not get tired of it.
Good vs evil, Zorg choking on a cherry, it has everything.
Any scene with Milla Jovovich is out of this world.
Fun fact : an act of love is what defeats the Evil in this 1997 movie.
The very same year that a book about a young wizard who survived a deadly spell because of an act of love.
Milla Jovovich ❤ was 21 when she starred in this in 1996. Bruce was 42. She was born in Soviet-occupied Ukraine to Serbian and Russian parents in 1975. She began modeling and acting at age 11 after her parents emigrated to Los Angeles. Her acting is incredible in this.
Best wishes to Bruce and family.
Never was a film so nutty, so implausible, so disjointed, as entertaining.
I saw this in the theatre. Fantastic sound effects. One of my favorite Bruce Willis films.
This was such wild, FUN movie! Like a story lifted right out of _Heavy Metal_ magazine.
How did we never get a sequel. I feel like if we got a sequel nowadays it would just be terrible.
Cheb Khaled in the background music is just fabulous
" Big badda boom "
Cant believe they did not include the negotiation scene out.
Agree - the negotiation scene is one of the best
"Where did he learn to negotiate?"
"I wonder..."
awesome movie from beginning to the end!
One of my favourite movies, think I'll watch it again, now. MOOOOLTEEPASS 😂
And he still isn't scary. It always helps to have the script, Director, Producer, and marketing on your side.
Epic film with great characters

Leeloo is the best!
Negative! I am a baloney sandwich! (cops move on)
I think it’s “Are you classified as human? Negative! I am a meat popsicle” lol
Does anybodyelse want to negotiate?
Souvenir 1997.
Brilliant Bruce saving the would again…
Would is always in trouble
👽💚
What's with gd music?
Too bad most of us today not are not only ignorant of the meaning of love but confuse all semblance of it with eros.
They used a fake leg to kick the mangalore in the face.
It may have been a fake leg but it was a real Mangalore.
We need 4 stones like those to save humanity from climate collapse.

Ironically, Chris Tucker was the most annoying character in this awesome movie. The Navi with side tentacles was from Avataar's Pandora
