Hey Chet, WE LIKE CORN HARVEST TOO !!! We could ride along with you for hours !!! Please don't kick us out so fast... promise to sit quietly.
Agreed. Even if it isn't narrated, just run the camera in the cab and let us ride with you. Can't get enough of the combine footage!
@@floorpizza8074 🌵🌵💀💀👍👍🌵🌵
Need a couple lives between you and big swede.
I agree, if the camera was behind the right or left shoulder and do a raw hour long combine ride so editing would be easy would be sweet!!
@@collin27 👍👍yup
Anyone else hit the like button before the video starts because they know it’s going to be good?
Yup😅
Yep
Hey Chet, Thank You for another great video! Mother Nature can really be a pain sometimes! But, you all are handling this harvest in stellar fashion! Hoping the rest of your harvest exceeds expectations! Until your next video ~~~ Stay safe, healthy, warm and happy! 🚜🌽🚜🌽
I like how your help comes from all over that's great. Good farming

Loving the videos over in the UK Chet! Keep it up!
Hey Chet your farm looks great and you’re getting all your corn combined. Life is good. Cool video 👍❤️
I like the new intro footage. The farm looks great
Great job chet as always
Love the in cab videos
Thanks for your time making the video watching from Reno NV
What a great problem all the bins are full. Good thing your making it on corn because beans may be an issue.
Night harvest videos are amazing from Larson Farms.. the moon in the videos too! Breathtaking. Thanks again!
A great video ,lots of different
things to see 😊😊😊😊😊
Good show
Forward progress is always a good thing.
Love your videos they are so fun
Enjoyed watching the video Chet 😊
Your attitude is very good for the way harvest has been going. That's a great way to look at things. "It is what it is". Hopefully, everyone stays safe during your harvest season, and as always, thanks for bringing us along with your families operation. Keep up the great job. And it's soggy here in southeast Iowa also.
Makes fully complete since on the different verities when planting. Chet you explained it perfectly thank you
The Combine is a magical piece of equipment.......
Very nice layout of the farm on your profile of CZcams!! God bless you all
thank you for giving some time to two tracked JD
I really enjoyed watching your mom ride in the combine with you. As much time as you spend in there, I would think any rider helps the time go by.😊
Morning to Chet, Doug, Brodie and the Big Swede.
It's FARMING LARSON STYLE. YAHOOOOOO 👍👍👍
The folding corn head and speed disk are the two best inventions in the last 20 years.
Great video
Thanks for another great video Chet. It was interesting.
Sorry you are having this on and off rain weather. Makes for difficult harvesting.
Guess the field got wet enough where a truck got stuck. Had to unlock some corn to get it unstuck. Oh my. Used a corn vac I guess.
When too wet for combines I see you and Brody jumped to tillage machines. The ground you did looks good. Nice work guys.
Busy kind of harvest jumping from one thing to another. Hang in there.
About it I guess.
Thanks for everything Larsons.
You all take care and be safe.
The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
Fuel tanks look great Randy and Dougl
Finally lol
Dougo!! We need more bins
Those geometrically squared up fields make me smile.
I miss combining corn It was sa satisfying to see them acres come off
Look at them fine freshly painted fuel tanks!
They L👀K absolutely Marvelous!
C bien de voir les champs
Love it
Ótimo vídeo agente vai junto
BTW you can make it rain and stop raining. My grandmother would go to church to pray for rain. While raining for days she would go back to church and pray for it to stop raining. That rosary really got a workout!
The older you get. The more harvests under your belt. You don't sweat the small stuff as much as you used to.
Hey Dougo, Rev. Paul,Eustis Florida.
Y’all should put those huge holders online as rip-rap or yard decorations…
We used them in Alaska when controlling floodwaters worked most of the time. Some were bigger than a 10 dump bed bro. Used on highway embankments etc. etc..
My grandparents live in eustis fl
I am surprised you harvest with your un-loading augers out , we would NEVER do that here, too dangerous lol !!! .............. love your videos :)
Huge fields , 14 acres. Wow
The content is just what we are looking for. We don't need exciting stuff, just the harvest and fall work in general.
Thanks Chet.
Life will do that to you!
A little bit of Fargo speak coming out today...of course it was enjoyable!
I wonder what that backhoe-conveyer looks like? Can't say I've ever seen one 'til I see it and maybe recognize it. Thanks for the great video!
Batco Conveyor is what he said. Batco is the brand
Big equipment for huge 3 acre fields,
Hello Chet , Mother Nature is unpredictable never know what will happen .
That just the way it works usually at harvest time
Tell Randy to push and hold his traction control button tell the stabilitrak shuts off. He won't have a problem with the traction control after that.
Time-lapse while harvesting would be cool.
Farmyard Foreman Toby approved
Hey, Chet, I was wondering how much you guys would make per acre on a corn - if you didn't have to buy fertilizers , herbicides pesticides?
Chet we love corn harvest! You should just set up the GoPro and just let'er run even if nothing happens we would most likely watch you just go up and down the field
Chet Dougo Randy Broodie that was so good rainbow moved on tillage great harvest poor.
Where was the Swede other wise I like watching you guys
Big stone rock county
Gday from Aus. You've probably already been asked 50 million times. But what brand are those Bluetooth headphones you all use? And love all your videos, have been watching now for a bit over two years. Thanks. 👍
Does It not put stress on your augers when they're out when you travel up and down the field.
Is any yield difference between the 2 different corn head manufacturers?
For years I've used Mother's "Back to Black" auto trim restorer on my car. It's a white liquid, go figure. It's a matte finish on plastic and really soaks in, not just sit on top of the material. I've found, however that if you put some on a paper towel and smear it on your wipers, not only do the wipers last longer, but after a few swipes on the windshield, you have a nice coating on the windshield that will last at least a couple of hours through a heavy downpour on the highway at seventy. Don't turn the wipers on, you can see better without them, especially at night. Does your combine do seventy?
Hey Chet did the guy Dougo hired finally finished repainting the gas tanks white around 13:48 min mark
Did they ceramic coated or just
F-A-R-M-I-N-G !!!
At about the time you were telling about black bean fertilizer, Chet was that a pile of corn between the bins ? LOL or a pile of beeswings
in your opening shot it looks like you are farming an asphalt parking lot!
New bins lol 😂
I made a suggestion to John Deer to increase the power of the combine so that you could attach an implement such as your cultivator to the combine!!! It would save both fuel and time!!! Does that sound nuts???...Dave
All the Best CZcams farmers need to go live while combining. Based on other CZcamsrs that go live you are leaving a lot of Money on the Table. Get a megnetic mount for your phone and just point it forward. I’d watch even if you didn't say a word.
Chet you need a paywall for some of the R rated excitement! I would gladly pay $5 a month to see ya'll curse at eachother when things arent going right!
Chet, not having enough storage means a good crop! Any plans for twin for your newest bin before next year? I know lost a small bin and you bought another farm. Might be time for more bins? Good to see y’all growing
I think they are around 600k bushel storage. That is awesome they are going to overflow them.
Your field map looks like Nebraska, lol
Is that John Deere you were using for tillage tuned yet?
Do you think a halo could replace a cultivator?
👍👍❤
Out of season, when you have time, wouldn't it be a great activity to remove all the rock piles from the fields?
That doesn't sound like fun at all!!! LOL
There is a good chance that under that rock pile that there are more bigger rocks under the surface. It's a lot easier to just drive around than dig them up. 2 reasons why is it can be really hard on machines digging up big rocks and you don't exactly know what's under there and how dig of an area you may be digging up.
@@alexanderrobertson9297 for these areas which rocks produce with the freeze/thaw (or otherwise) - does anyone market a ground penetrating radar bar to show them up in advance - either in tilling or before/while planting ?
How many acers do you farms
Chet don’t you have a yankum to pull Randy out with the combine?
How do you blend vegetation material into that black clay-like soil? Here in Ohio, we have that issue with black soil.
That ceramic must be hard to work up.
I only have one question where was the Down Pour at?
when is you and Genies big day?
What are the brand of boots that you are wearing in this video?
Is this the same variety that everyone is having trouble with this season
Brody!!!!!!!!!!!
What happened to the kodiak ?
I have never seen black dirt no black in north mississippi
What’s the difference in a 80 and quarter acreage wise? I hear that referenced all the time.
A “quarter” is 1/4 of a section(640 acres) or 160 acres
Tilling in asphalt, it's heavy ground, lol.
Yall need a deep ripper
Too bad you did not show some content on the stuck truck. That would add some excitement to the video.
I don't think Grandpa is going to be happy about all the beeswings in the yard! 10:57
I'd love to know the percentage or organic content in your soil. It looks incredibly low considering the mud looked like black concrete.
Probably less than 2%. That’s where excessive tillage and over application of synthetic fertilizers gets you. Dead soil that’s harder than concrete
Without out tillage it would be unfarmable cattails.
@@EricCarlson-bz2pt Without adequate carbon/organic matter or living plant roots it’s dead soil
Pretty sure they can make it rain now
well chet ole buddy, im going to go off on a limb here an say,,,why is there a pile of boulders in the corn field,, with the machines you have /excavator / somebody should say hey lets dig a big pit an bury them deep enough to plant on, and i bet if you ask daddy cornstar on how deep an wide im sure he could steer you right, he has experience in burying things,, hahaahahaah cheers
Are there any amendments that can keep that black soil from going to hard - as seen in the lead-in ? compost in high volumes etc ?
Freeze thaw over winter and it will be soft again. High organic matter soil already.
I was thinking the same. maybe cover-crop, but not for this time of year.
Cover crops and no till
Cover crops and no-till aren't always the answer, Unless you have all kinds of money to burn and don't care whether or not you don't get an actual cash crop planted
@@jacobbirklid9361 and don't care that we're 2 weeks past the avg killing frost date.
