Your card designs are just amazing Lucy. I can’t pick a favourite one out of this group, they all look fantastic. Keep making these videos and using the clear simple instructions (with the errors left in) they are so easy to follow and I have learnt so many tips and tricks from you. All are beautiful but I think my favorite is #3, I like the idea of matching a sparse piece to a filled in pattern. Great for using up a 12 x 12 with limited pattern that's nice but needs something more.

Lucy, you make greeting cards a breeze. I have several, several DSP 12 x 12 pads and TNTC-(To Numerous To Count) DSP 4 x 6 size. Since I'm not working right now, I'm soaking up all these ideas. In November 2024 I will be at a craft fair selling my All Occasion Greeting Cards. So, I'm soaking up these wonderful ideas. Great use of your papers! I like them all, but am particularly drawn to herringbone cards and the one with the torn edges showing on either side of the center floral paper. The bird is perfectly placed. You have a designer's eye for pattern and color and composition. Every video of yours I watch I marvel at your use of the Xacto knife. I think I'd cut myself, for sure. Your dialogue as you construct the cards is always so insightful and helpful. I love seeing a notification of a new video from you.

unfortunately i don't have the space for an electric one (i do all my crafts on my bed) and the noise of the electric ones would annoy me. but my manual one is on its way out but i've used it so much but once it goes i might upgrade with a bigger manual one come christmas time if it goes
I have a fiskars paper trimmer but not happy because as I found put that it does cut straight. I just bought a tonic guillotine so will let you know once I have received it. I keep meaning to follow you on Instagram but I keep forgetting I don't have my phone with when I watch your video's 😀

I have that happy birthday die but find it difficult to cut the thin top part no matter what type of paparazzi I use.

Oh that’s no good. I think I usually add a piece of scrap paper as a shim when die cutting it. I find it works best with thick card, especially metallic card as it keeps its shape really well. It is fiddly but I love it. Xox
