This is one of my favorite interviews to watch of him. I don’t know how many times I’ve watched it. He’s so humble and down to earth. He’s so youthful and energetic. I love it. I still don’t know how she managed to stay professional with him staring at her and his voice and just him being all cute. He’s just...wow.
He sounds truly grateful it's amazing how awesome his voice is even after 2 decades of drug abuse, God is Good!

After reading some of the comments, I am disappointed and perplexed. "Colorism" does not have to be a reality. I just wish the interviewer hadn't made the mindless statement. As a society, we must stop falling victim to the social construction of color of skin; because, it's STUPID. All shades are exceptionally BEAUTIFUL.
All shades are beautiful. But colorism goes both ways. The Debarge's was teased and picked on because of the color of thier skin.
Colorism, Sexism, Classism, Racism, Ageism, Colonialism-and all the rest of the “isms” are disgusting. They all share one thing in common: mental illness. One has to be crazy to think that anyone is superior to the other. Dust we are, and dust we shall will return.
