It's my first day here and I'll be staying here until the 22nd. No hot air balloons today since it's cloudy.
• Transportation: Bus (Kamil Koç)
I took a 5-hour bus ride from Ankara to Göreme via Kamil Koç (Flixbus) for only €9,00.
• Accommodation: Goreme Art Stone Hotel
I highly recommend this hotel since they have dorm-type rooms & private rooms. Plus, the owners are friendly and breakfast is free. I am staying here for 3 nights for only €6,00 per night.
** There is a weekend lockdown all over Turkey. Residents and citizens cannot go out, this does not affect foreigners.
** As soon as you arrive, get your HES Code, hotels and transportations are mostly asking for it.
** If you are coming from Istanbul, you can fly to Kayseri Airport via Turkish Airlines or Pegasus.

If you are travelling withing Turkey you do not need a PCR test. You'll be needing a HES Code
May i ask what is a HES code? And what is it for? Thank you for your response.
You need it to travel in Turkey, you have to get it when you arrive in Turkey.
How can we get the HES code??
After you enter Turkey you can text this number:
2023
Then type the following
HES(space)country code on your passport(space)passport number(space)year of birth(space)surname
Example:
HES PHL P******* 199* LOPEZ
